Ali, women are at their most beautiful when they don't feel like it. Natural beauty is underrated, you don't have to be dolled up to be beautiful.

There is old time phrase used by farmers.. "The back forty". This phrase rose out of the Homestead Act from the 1800's. Land was divided up into sections/quarters, based on 40 acre plots. So the "Back Forty was usually the plot of land in the back portion of the farm. In the lyrics to this song the Writer is trying to utilize a bunch of different phrases commonly used by Country Folk, such as the "dogs running". "Whistling Dixie, "Devil went Down to Georgia", "shine", "sound of being found", even the term God's Country. The whole song is an homage to those people who work and respect the land. Using these phrases that are more common to those people, elevates the song to a higher level, specially for those specific people... "God's People" lol.

A square mile, or section, is 640 acres, a quarter of that is 160 acres and a quarter of that is 40 acres (often a square quarter mile). Farms were often a "long 80" going from up by the road and house and would be a 1/4 mile wide and a half mile deep. That makes the front 40 by the road and the back 40 behind that, and often in the middle of the section. If there was a woods on the property, it would often be in the back 40 were you would hunt and generally be marginally farther from civilization.
Hardy thought this song up why he was deer hunting, he wrote it, Blake recorded it and it was on the air in like 3 weeks. Pssst, Ali, you're beautiful
Great reaction! "Sittin' back in the 40" refers to 40 acres of land.

A quarter section is 160 acres (65 ha) and a "quarter-quarter section" is 40 acres (16 ha). In 1832 the smallest area of land that could be acquired was reduced to the 40-acre (16 ha) quarter-quarter section, and this size parcel became entrenched in American mythology. After the Civil War, freedmen (freed slaves) were reckoned to be self-sufficient with "40 acres and a mule." In the 20th century real estate developers preferred working with 40-acre (16 ha) parcels.[2] The phrases "front 40" and "back 40," referring to farm fields, indicate the front and back quarter-quarter sections of land.

I agree GG Teri, well, except that I'm a lonely little old man. 😋 Sebs is one of my favorite reactors, but I normally only watch Angelina Jordan reactions. When the recommendation for this video popped on my screen, I was the same as you, in that I thought his wife looked amazing and I wanted to see what she had to say. She was being overly modest, because she always looks amazing. Oh, I checked out your profile page and one of my favorite songs are by Willie Nelson and Ray Charles. "Seven Spanish Angels" You have a good day, and keep listening to music!!

Shes a complete knockout. So very pretty, and that smile lights up when she looks at you. 🙂 Love it.
Blake's official videos for Austin, The Baby, Ol Red, Honey bee, Hillbilly Bone, and Come Back as a Country Boy are MUST watches. All fantastic and worth a look. I believe this was shot at Blake's ranch in Oklahoma :)
"who are you when I'm not looking" from Blake Shelton is an instant bedroom playlist add
Sebs your hair makes me jealous 😆 😆 Ali is as stunning as you are my friend! You compliment each other!!! But Ali you are a classy & attractive lady!!!!
If you ain't heard The Devil Went Down to Georgia yet, that's a requirement. Especially the live version from the '70's.
The back 40 is an expression referring to somewhere that's way out there away from everything. The expression comes from homestead act where farmers would receive 160 acres divided into 4-40 acre sections. You had the 2 front 40s and the 2 back 40s.
Ali always looks beautiful!!!! I love the song Hardy wrote for Blake GODS COUNTRY 🎶music is life 🎶✌🏽
You know it's absolutely amazing you two were able to evaluate the song
She is absolutely beautiful; and I love the way you two react with each other
That color really compliments Ali's eyes, makes then POP! I love her hair up too...allows you to really see her lovely face.
That's my fellow Okie. A lot of his videos are filmed on his Oklahoma ranch. Notice the footage at the beginning that is meant to invoke the dust bowl that nearly took Oklahoma down. Now.... I wouldn't want to live in any other state.
Beauty comes from inside and she in my opinion is a beautiful angel you are a lucky man never forget that. GOD Bless you both.
Oklahoma (where Blake is from, and now lives) is called "God's Country" (though I'm sure many other places are too) The early pictures look like the Dust Bowl in the 30's.

40 acres of land! I love the hat tip. To The devil went down to Georgia AND Amazing Grace...."saved by the sound of a, been found.." tipping hats to Amazing Grace.
My favorite Blake song is Old Red…. A MUST listen!! He actually is from near where I live in Oklahoma…he is red dirt raised!! The back 40 refers to the back of your property… the back 40 acres… Ali, don’t worry about how you look. You are in your glory when you are with your husband and kids. All natural and all woman. A true lady!
This is a great song & I love Blake. This was filmed on his ranch in Oklahoma. Correct, 'shine' is moonshine & farmers divide their property in 40-acre sections, so the back 40 is the property way in the back, like this dusty dirty fields he is showing. He has a fantastic duet with Gwen called 'Nobody but you' & it is a beautiful love song & a beautiful video. And Hardy is amazing. His song' the Mockingbird & the crow' describes how he wrote trendy songs being a mockingbird, copying the 'formula' for radio play & then the last half of the song, the music & everything changes & he sings about now being the crow & speaking his mind, saying what he wanted to say. Really cool song. And when you do Courtesy of the red, shite & blue, you must see the official video for the full experience.
This was filmed on Blake Shelton's ranch in Oklahoma...I used to live right around the same place... Also lived 10 minutes from Garth Brooks's house in Owasso, OK...he is a really nice and down to earth guy
“The 40” was the typical acreage that most purchased in the mid-west. “Shine”= moonshine, the water made by the hard working people of the south. “Box”= the casket to be buried 6ft underground. Lots of great one word lines in Hardy’s songs. Like “12” in WinTT, short for 12 gauge. Hardy has a great way with words in his lyrics. Great song writer.
Dude! you are the luckiest man alive, to have such a loving, caring, beautiful wife and children. God Bless You and your family (and America!).
This MV was filmed at Blake Shelton’s ranch. It’s directed by Sophie Muller who directed many mvs for No Doubt and Gwen Stefani.
You’re wife is beautiful, the way you both look at each other is so special, cherish each other. ‘May God bless you both

Blake's first hit song was "Austin" in 2001 so he's been around quite a while. Some of the pictures were archives of the Dust Bowl days from the 1930's drought. Other parts were on his ranch in Oklahoma, and he took some "heat" for torching a nice, old Oliver tractor. A suggestion for this year's 4th of July..... instead of Toby Keith's (another Oklahoma boy like Blake) "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue" do his song "Made In America - Official Music Video" as it fits the 4th perfectly - especially the visuals of parades and celebrations on the 4th to match the lyrics.
The back 40 is the back part of your property when you have a bunch of acres. Also know as the lower 40.
Her beauty comes through because you can tell she is a good person. Her light shines through her eyes.
She is without a doubt drop dead gorgeous!!! I can’t imagine her ever being ugly.. Sebastian, you are one lucky dude!!! 👍
Blake Shelton is old school Country and he lives on his large ranch in Oklahoma. Back in the 40 is talking about a part of his farm another way of saying the back 40 is reference to his acrerage. By the way your Wife is a Beautiful Young Lady.
The first homesteads (1862) were 160 acres. They were usually divided into 4 section. The "back forty" was the most remote part of the farm, usually far away from busy parts of the farm. Now it usually means the most remote part of a ranch or farm.
Ali is so beautiful! Ur a lucky man to have her! She always looks great on camera.
It was filmed in Oklahoma. Blake is a fellow Oklahoman. Many of the dust bowl scenes were Oklahoma as well. My grandfather was a kid during the dust bowl.
Y’all are both beautiful! Inside and out! 😘😘
Stop lady! You are freaking gorgeous!!!! Oh and GODS COUNTRY! BLAKE! FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!
Great reaction to a great song now you absolutely must listen to "The devil went down to Georgia" iconic song by an iconic song writer, performer and Christian Charlie Daniels!
I read that Hardy gave this song to Blake. He told him he had a week to record it or he would. Blake recorded it 5 days later.
Back forty is a farming term for basically the land in the back end. We even used it growing up when I mowed the lawn with the tractor. The "back 40" was the area of our lawn we a) didn't use, b) was farthest from the house...and we had less then 2 acres:+) God bless~
I am TOTALLY 100% with you regarding Americans who hate on America. I ❤❤❤ being American (since 2010). Of course it’s not perfect. No country is. Having lived in 3 countries on 2 very different continents, and traveled a lot , I know I am in the right place for me. Alli is indeed beautiful - seems true inside and out. Treasure each other.
Ali is a natural, wholesome, beauty. She reminds me of the song by Sammy Kershaw - "She Don't Know She's Beautiful." You should check it out.
Good ole Blake from Oklahoma! God's Country! Most likely filmed at Blake's ranch in Tishamingo, Oklahoma. He's a keeper for us Okies!
Dude, you "keep" her around because she is very pretty...and her eyes, wow!!! Great reaction by the way haha
Blake Shelton's The Baby has his old hair and the song makes you cry every time.
A lot of this video was shot on Blake's property, in Oklahoma. If you notice the clips are of the Dust Bowl, which covered most of Oklahoma including his property too.
The video was filmed around Tishomingo, Oklahoma with old footage of the dust bowl era thrown in. He owns a restaurant in Tish called Ole Red. They have live music and Blake pops in every once in a while. Love this song!! Ali is gorgeous!! ❤

"Getting baptized in holy water and shine, this is gods country" is my favorite line of this song. The heart of the south.
One of my favorite Blake songs!!! Ali you are a beautiful woman!!! Love when you guys react together!!!! ❤
Moonshine has that name because during prohibition, when alcohol was illegal, they made their own booze at night, out in the woods, using only the light of the moon to see what they were doing. NASCAR (stock car racing) was born when fast cars were used to transport moonshine, and they often had to outrun law enforcement.
I believe much of this was filmed on Blake's ranch he is a country boy at heart and has a huge ranch in Oklahoma where he is from. Ali you're beautiful always.
Your smile lights up the video... when you smile your eyes light up... its beautiful
Yes she is beautiful and we are so glad your here in the US. Love Ya'll
I just started watching you two today. Ya'll have made me laugh with you, and brought out other emotions with the different reactions I've watched. She is a beautiful young lady and thank you for making my eyes happy
Ali, you're beautiful. Don't ever doubt that. Also, great job catching the reference to 'Devil Went Down To Georgia'. I suggest reacting to the video. The live version. Just mind blowing. I had no Hardey had written this. As for Blake, he just has the most amazing voice. He's the only reason I watch "The Voice" but this is his last year.
From what I've seen and heard she's beautiful inside and out!
Your wife has the most beautiful eyes and she also seems like a very humble person ! Your a lucky man and you guys make a good couple oh. P.S love your reactions!
Hay Sebs, love your comments and reactions! …. Also your respect, defense, and love for The United States. Now to the important part! …. Ali, believe him when he says your beautiful! You are! You have a natural beauty that comes along rarely. You never look like you are wearing makeup, or need to. Some poor girls need to put it on with a spatula. Your very lucky, and so is Sebs. Keep up the great comment style.

As a fellow Okie I’m so proud of Blake. I got to see Blake when he was just a kid and I two stepped holes in my boots to Austin. I saw him at the Oklahoma Opry when he was still sportin the mullet. And if you wanna know where God’s Country is look no further than Oklahoma.
Ali is a smoke show in this reaction. Cute little bun, and smooth tencel top...cutest look ever...
Added note Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Vince Gill and Reba McEntire, all from Oklahoma. Blake still lives here, so does Garth Brooks and Toby Keith. Back forty is also used as a slang. In the Oklahoma land run people were allowed 160 acres, so the back 40, was out of sight, out of mind as the saying goes. Greetings from Oklahoma 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

It was filmed on his ranch in Oklahoma. When he married Gwen Stefani he built a little chapel for them on his ranch to get married in. It was his wedding gift to her..

Ali, you are a beautiful woman❤️ Natural beauty goes to the soul❤️. Listen to your hubby…..he got you!!
When my grandpa was only 15 and didn’t even have a drivers license he used to run moonshine. Which means he would run it from the moonshiners still into the dry counties where alcohol was illegal. Usually moonshine was made at night by the light of the moon. Hence the name. Up in the hills and hollers where they could hide. My grandma turned him around though and my dad is a pastor so it all worked out! Lol
Back “in the forty” is a saying originally used when referring to the furthest most remote part of a farm/large property like the one in the video (in Oklahoma). These days, if you’re at a large stadium/venue and it takes at least 10 minutes to get from your truck to the door, you’ve parked in “ the back forty”. On another note, I just found your channel last night and am hooked. Congratulations on your citizenship
Love your reactions. The next Blake song should be “Austin”, I believe it was his first hit. Ali you look beautiful just the way you are!
Ali, you are so beautiful. You actually look like Laura Branigan (singer from the 80s) and she was gorgeous! Loved the reaction.
This was shot on his ranch in Oklahoma. Side note - Ali, you look beautiful as always. Sitting back with a 40 means a 40oz beer.

'Back 40' is the 40 acres in the middle portion of a quarter section. Take a 1 mile square, that's a section (640 acres). 1/4 of that is a 'quarter' (160 acres), and the 1/4 of THAT quarter is the 40 acres that doesn't touch either of the roads and thus is called the 'Back 40'

Two references to great songs, "I saw the Light." that's from Hank Williams Sr. The other is, The Devil Went Down to Georgia by the great Charlie Daniels.
Earl's Gotta Die by The Chicks. It's about best friends. When they grow up one becomes famous and leaves town; the other stays and marries Earl. Earl ends up being drunk and abusive. It's a good song. You really should listen to it.
Love the Theo Von reference. A song you will love is from a buddy of Theo's and Morgan Wallen, Kid Rock "American Rock n' Roll".
"Saved by sound of the been found" refers to the hymn, Amazing Grace. "I was lost, but now Im found."
