BLADESMITHING | Finishing the Junkyard Knife | PART ONE
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
AT LAST: Jason Knight revisits the junkyard knife, and this time, to finish it! In this first video, Jason forged and hammered the junkyard steel into a chef's knife, as well as working on grinding, heat-treating, and quenching the blade.
Thank you for watching, and BE A MAKER!

Very nice to see an MS making a knife just for the fun of it!
I've been waiting so long for this. It's a shame the pattern got messed up. I was so looking forward to it. Still gonna be awesome though.
Super cool
Been wondering what ever happened to this build good to see you finally finish it

You mentioned the 3 32nds cut off wheel I wonder what the difference would be if you were to get it cut down with a water jet 🤔

I mean I know it wouldn’t be very cost efficient but I’m wondering if it would lessen the material loss .
You know all I use is scrap cause I don't have a ton of money to get proper ok nice steel and they turn out fine
To longwinded & poorly organised...sorry mate...!!! You wouldn't be able to keep up the pace professionally..to much unnecessary foot milage back & forth over your Workshop floor area..!!

You realize that he’s known for mass production of high end knives, batches of 150, 250 and so on he’s done it. This junkyard knife isn’t a priority for him neither is his KZread channel
