Yeah same, i have both my main dps in A tier(i previously used yanqing that is now in D tier) and is really discouraging, the same happened to me with genshin where i pulled xiao and ayato when they released to then find out they are worse than the characters released before.

Blade is still one of my most favorite and used characters ever, he just fits whenever I need him. I can just put him in the team and he just does his job doesn’t matter if he has all the supports or just him, he does his job. 10/10 character

I agree, I've genuinely been using him as a Flex unit for all my teams and he's been performing way above my expectations in all scenarios and even carried me through Pure Fiction.

For someone who 5 cycle floor 12 (trust me, it takes a lot of thought and practice for F2P to do this), I can say 0 cycle is on another level of difficulty.

Not really if youre lucky like me im f2p as well but got blade an s5 secret vow and i got e0 fuxuan e0 dhil with sig and jingliu with sig i also got bronya in the beginner banner and now i got ruan mei e0 as well so my account is pretty loaded despite not spending anything i just put blade and jingliu together with fu xuan and pela and my bronya with with DHIL ruan mei and ting yun my dhil team needs abit of thinking in skill point economy tho and i equipped my bronya with a 4pc healer set with a crapton of crit dmg and enough speed so i can have 4 skill points at the start of battle(very helpful with my teamcomp) but my jing liu blade team can auto almost anything and 0-2 cycle every MOC reset

I think Spd is the key. A lot people underestimate Spd with good spd u can clear moc 12 2-4 cycle easly with good relic and invesment of course

Its mostly using the right unit with speed tuning specifically for that team but sometime RNG plays a role too. Which is why I'm not gonna waste my time on it lol Getting full star clear is enough for me.

Hsr is kinder than genshin, i have been winning more than lost on hsr and they give reward much better than genshin where i lost every fucking 50/50, and yes is posible for f2p even is rng, but u can manage well even u are f2p

I always thought the best dpses were the destruction trifecta (Jingliu, DHIL and Blade) so I'm surprised when people say Blade's not as good especially when he has full AOE built in his kit. 😂

Hes not as good because most of his damage comes from counters and unless he is constantly attacked nonstop,other dps will do more damage. Like with il you only need skill points to do damage. And thats it

I had been waiting on Blades rerun ever since i skipped him. As soon as he came back, i got him and his lightcone. Now him and Jingliu crush everything together.

Blade is so slept on. He can deal damage, self-sustain, SU/Swarm is a breeze if you give him the correct blessings.

Blade main here and yes i enjoy using him but as for lightcone i chose ruan mei's lightcone(and yes i obviously have her) because i noticed that it gives 24% dmg buff just like blade's lightcone gives 24% dmg buff

Broo blade was a godsend for me on first half. Ever since I got jingliu she's been stuck with bronya so I haven't used blade in a while. But I couldn't get 3stars on moc 12 with seele until I realized I had a blade and first half is wind weakness. I also used the same team as you (replacing fuxuan with luocha). Literally beat it in 2waves

Can i use Brighter than sun (Imbibitar Lunae) light cone on blade ? No one says anything about that, so i am confused why is secret vow 2nd best than a 5star light cone.

Blade is great for sure. I like using my friend’s Blade, he’s strong and tanky so he’s incredibly comfy to use alongside my Luocha. Was hoping to get my own Blade this time, unfortunately my own bad luck prevented it, and will have to cross my fingers for whenever a second rerun comes around. Thanks for another banger video though.

That’s why I am still using blade and why I picked him up. His skill point economy is what’s gonna keep him relevant for a long time

Hi I just started like a week ago I'm not f2p but I also don't want to spend so much, I have yanqing and bronya, and I don't really have a good DPS, I know ruan mei is gonna have a lot value in the long run so I was gonna roll for her I also have memories of the pass but I kinda like blade, should I pull for blade and skip ruan mei? yeah blade is amazing he really shines in sim uni, i used him to clear g&g conundrum 12, his follow up can be uber buffed with elation, and if hes with fu and you get blast heals to everyone thats him and fu healing the whole team continuously, put him with jing and she triggers his follow up, i used fu/ blade/ ruan and jing, + the dude is hard as nails one of the few times i think hit blade pls... :D and yes i do have dhil as well, very unique character

I don't have Blade but love using friend's Blades when I can. Also I really thought I would get bored of Topaz animations and I somehow still haven't. Maybe Numby spinning and throwing fiery mystic tornadoes is somehow always entertaining to me. Topaz is now my favorite character and I can't wait to get her lightcone on a rerun.

Had 70 jades. Just bought the battle pass and got him on the 8th pull, I could NOT be happier with him! S2 Secret vow but It should be fine. 2nd favorite character! Glad you put this vid out. SO excited to build him! I’ll grab his signature LC next rerun😊Finally I can run Jingliu/Blade/Ruan Mei/ Lynx!

Blade is a very comfy character, he does not hit hard like jingliu or IL but playing him is very comfy since u know he will never die

The funny thing is, even without all that crit dmg, my blade does similar damage at 8.5k hp... and 130% CritD

I've been using slow blade(e0s0 only r3 arlan lc) recently with huohuo(e0 bailu lc), rm(e1s1), and bronya(e1s0) and it's just so fun seeing him hit 250k+ follow-ups. Im pretty sure I could reach 300k+ if i max my talents since bronya and RM are at 8,8,8 and blade is at 9,9,9.

Boss, since blade gets a lot of dmg% buffs from ruan mei and bronya i was wondering if an hp orb would perform better than a wind dmg orb. Do you have any calcs on this? I haven't tried myself cuz my hp orbs are total trash

If you want to play him in the futur, vertical investment is the best option for characters to stay relevant You should pull for E1 imo Generally i'd say that character>eidolons, but if your account is already stacked it's okkay I have 3 limited (JY, IL, Seele) dps and all of them are at least E0S1 while being f2p

Just wanted to thank you, I was able to 3* MOC 12 with this team, no sig light cones, all E0 5*s (I am 100% FTP), and had time to spare :) Previously I had been two turns short, you made the difference for me

Honestly use whichever one has the better subs, but he def does auto atk much more than his ult/follow up unless e6. That said, I think either set is fine with a slight dmg increase in rutilant set. His auto multiplier is high af.

Hmm I think it depends on the team and content you play him in. If you’re doing the first team Gacha had in this vid (Bronya hypercarry) for sure Rutilant pulls ahead of Salsotto. On the opposite end of the spectrum if you are using Lynx’s aggro buff and Jingliu’s drain in Pure Fiction you can bet Salsotto will outperform Rutilant by a pretty wide margin.

Should I go for E1 Ruan mei or E0 Blade? I’m a new player that grabbed a Ruan mei and got an early Bronya after. So I’m sitting on a guarantee. Current DPS units are Himeko and Xueyi. I know we all gettin Ratio so what do y’all think? I also have Lynx 😅

Been a Blade believer since day one. I pulled for his LC during this event because I'm all in for him both as a main DPS and co-DPS (with Jingliu). His pairing with Slow Bronya is the best especially when supported by Pela or Ruan Mei, and a Fu Xuan. I'm aiming for a Luocha when a re-run banner becomes available. 😅

Blade is the first and only character of mine that is E6S5 and is my golden boy rocking 8k HP, 1700 Atk, 76 CR, and 230 CD. I love his playstyle and his “jack of all trades” stats that let me never take him off the team (unless I want to gamble with QQ). Thanks for going my man some love, Smack!

According to leaks guesses... Acheron is coming in the middle of Penecony Banner. Not at the start, nor the end of it. You have enough to win the 50/50 for sure though. And if the new planet gives you enough free jades. Then enough for 100%. But that depends since she comes in the middle of the planet story progression.

Whos Bronya Jingliu triggering his Stacks is bonkers.

My IL 2 Cycle with only Tingyun as support, but my friend did also 0 cycle with IL and Blade with the same team setup; Ruan Mei & Bronya + 1 Sustain with Blade E0S1, IL E0. It just shows that Ruan Mei + Bronya just enabled top dps unit to 0 cycle with good investments. It just depends on the harmony unit. There is lots of clip of different dps 0 cycle with Ruan Mei & Bronya, harmony character is a chad.

Can someone explain the cycles to me? In my head this is one cycle so i don't think i understand how it works.

I only recently got Blade, after getting Ruan Mei early I decided to go for him cause he fits my account so damn well. I’m not disappointed at all in fact he performs better than I expected and that Prydwen rating of him is pure cap. Glad to see someone pushing the Lynx synergy. It’s so amazing she’s like a full time healer and a full time buffer for him. I guess the drawback is the stat hunger, kinda like Xueyi he just wants a lot of everything in order to be main DPS material but even with medium investment like mine is he pops off as sub DPS in Jingliu comps etc, especially in PF.

eos1 blade main since day 1! the community loves to underestimate him in every sense, but I'm glad we've people like smack ^^

Kafkas lightcone is very very good. If it says anything, I run Arlans Lightcone on blade, and my e2 blade lightcone on Arlan

Proud owner of E0S1 blade with banger relics. 7k+ HP, 135 SPD, 70/180 Cratio (gets to be 86 with longevious) with healthy >30% eff res, and even if there’s risks of getting CC’d my huohuo and bronya would counter it 100%. This man single-handedly saved my account. I never regretted “building pity for Kafka” back in 1.2 and ended up getting an early blade. Man saved my account frfr. Don’t even neee anymore eidolons, dude is perfect the way he is. Very very enjoyable experience in JP blade. He just sounds so damn dope

I was in the same situation as you. Pulled Blade on first banner, but didn't get his LC. I did try though, but failed to the 25%... Ran him with secret vow S5 since then. Over a week ago I made the decision to try and get his LC with what I had left, but didn't have quite enough for pity. Didn't pull the LC at first, then threw every little pulls I could do each day, and then finally got it at like 75 pity. With massive anxiety, this time, I did win the 75%, thank god. Now Blade is shining!
