For all those those who are wanting to know what version of the game this is, It's the Russian private server. I would recommend the Chinese version with the English patch installed. Works like a charm & great ping from.....New Zealand, of all places.

Pidgenosa Please don't assume that I do not know what I am talking about. For me the ping was always below 150. For a New Zealand player of any game that is relatively low ping.

i love how some comments are complaints when developers of ncsoft had already stated they makr you wear faction outfits so that you have to prepare for encounters from the enemy faction wether you like it or not :^] love the vid

+Freddy The Man I redid the build in the link discription, thats my arena build tho. For open world I recommend shadow drain, then the poison bomb which stacks 5 stacks of poison instant. Hardest burst atm is in open world: come out of stealth stun them > fast hongmun shadow slash on left path (4 x hit) > throw ur 5 stack poison grenade (4) and let the stacks explode with bolt step. Got now full gear and alone with the bolt step I crit sometimes close to 20 k in open world pvp with 5 stacks, the hongmun shadow slash also is around 12-14 k is it crits with good gear. So the burst is comparable to the old air bomb. But yeah, most important in open world is gear

when i started off watching this vid i was like woah thats sweet! then i realized i was watching him do the same shit to everyone. knock a guy up in the air then same combo attack them. yawn. i surely hope this guy isnt max lvl yet. because if that's all we have to look forward to then ima pass on the game. forgive me for wanting to mix it up and see different sweet moves get used. i guess if i had to compare how i feel its like when you 1v1 someone in street fighter and they just keep crouch kicking spam. zzzzz.

+Ryan Melius thing is, in a competitive situation you want to do the most effectie thing. Thats why there are stable combos who have been proven to be the best. And yes it is max level (before addon). In arena its a complete different story, there you have a variety of options. Its just that on open world you want to kill people fast before a 3rd person can interrupt you. On arena this combo will get you nowhere.

+Ryan Melius You will find that in pretty much any game a dominant skill set or strategy will prevail, why would anybody want to handicap themselves and use anything less than the best? It's up to the devs to tweak and balance the game after that point, this is what makes or kills an MMO. Given some time we can see what they come up with, you haven't even given them a chance yet. Look at World of Warcraft and how much that game has changed over the many many years since vanilla. There were times where pretty much everybody was using the same skill rotations, but Blizzard tweaked and balanced and now it's still a hugely successful MMO.

Mustache Stash You never PvP'd against same level players, right? Did you ever played as a maxed assassin against a forcemaster? You actually didn't, eitherway you should know how endurable / time taking such fights are, if you are pvping as an assassin. The point is, that he is killing other peoples quite fast, is a fact that those are lower than he is. Other than that /watch?v=mXQ_7Q00Dsk

is it just me or the fps on the video isn't that good? It would be very important in a game like this. The graphical aspect of the game doesnt impress me too much either- which might be positive as it would require less powerful systems to run or gain fps

+Ater Boreal the graphics - fps rate is poorly in this game sadly, I can run black desert @ max settings and have more fps then in Blade and Soul. Also Black Desert doesnt get fps drops from mass players @ screen, in bns massive drops. Thats the biggest downside of bns sadly, somehow all ncsoft games suffer from this :/. In arena fps is fine tho

If you look just to the right of the top left corner, there is white text there that shows the FPS. May be hard to see/read on a phone though.

+Ater Boreal I was able to run blade and soul at at least 15+ fps on my toaster shit PC. even when one the max settings. In black desert, I had to put it on lowest settings, and pretty much turn it into a gba game, with 200 x200 pixals before I could get it to run at 8 fps

master12151 dont know,, have atm 970 gtx, 16 GB ram and 8350 fx cpu, when its not crowded its fine for me too, but as soon lots of people are around even turn graphic down doesnt help. As said tho, Black Desert full fps no matter the amount of players. the video showd is recorded on an older pc, so its not as bad as in the video anymore, but still bad

+Dark Side It's called open-world PvP because you can PvP anywhere in the game's world. Whether or not they're wearing the faction gear to PvP is a minute but irrelevant detail.

If they're wearing PvP gear while questing without knowing it's flagging them for PvP then they will learn when they get ganked by someone 20 levels higher. It's their own fault for not reading the outfit details.

You will. Sometimes by players who are discovering pvp so don't really kbow why your name is in red but they'll still attack you, and sometimes by some random bired players who got nothing to do but ruin the fun because hey, "that's open pvp world". Lamest excuse ever but I tell myself at some point I'll be the one ripping them off apart when theyre be busy. :D

+Lenzie Evans its not forced, you dont want to play open world pvp then just dont wear the faction outfit, simple as that. (takes 5 seconds to unequip though to prevent trolling)

When pvp wasnt about oneshotting ppl. Now it is just a mess. No balance at all. Even two low tier can oneshot u if u have no pvp gear and get backstabbed

Daniel Fahl This game is not at all p2w, you can have (if i remember correctly) 95% of the item of the cash shop with something else (but by spending a LOT of time playing the game). And for what i have hear, the game is balanced for the pvp part, it's like 75% based of your skills of a gamer. Sorry i'm not really good with English stuff.

+TheTomokiSakurai How can you say its not p2w when the western publisher has not leaked any info about their p2p model and cash shop. The only thing leaked is the membership stuff for bonus loot/xp/currency that you can buy per month or get some from a founderspack. Other than that, the only game I ever played from NCSoft is Aion. It was fun in the beginning but was way to grindy. Couldn't tell if late game was p2w as I never got there. Besides the pvp, this game reminds me of Tera. Since it has the same stuff as any other mmo but with better pvp, I doubt it will be fun long. ArcheAge had alot more to offer, but it turned out bad real fast, im not saying 1 is better than the other, just that this is another old mmo made 7 years ago with the same shit we have had over the last 7 years. Through the pvp in ArcheAge and take out the cash shop and make the game p2p, it will have alot more fun, maybe less players who don't want a subscription. But it takes care of the kids, bots and alot of the p2w aspects. TL;DR: PvP looks fun, but besides that. how is this game different from any other 7 year old mmo?
