I wish they make the enemy holds the weapon differently depending on what weapon it is. Like a long sword for example, they should hold it with two hands and it wouldn't have a drag like effect when they swing. And the way they hold it should effect the way they swing, and the way they swing should affect the damage the weapon deals per swing.

for better performance: completely uninstall blade&sorcery and then download it again also disable shadows and stuff especially if you want to try out citadel i had like 10 fps before and every time i hit an enemy i had 1 fps after doing this i have legit 80-90 fps on the old maps and around 40-50 on citadel

Another underrated B&S player!

When I was playing (for as long as I could before I started getting a head ache from the horrible frame lag), I was messing around with the Gravity Spell and saw that if you release the spell while punching someone at the right time, you can knock them them pretty far away.

That would be awesome as, I hope they implement something like that man. Unfortunately at the moment it’s only really possible with blades, still very cool though and I think it’s just a stepping stone to a more elaborate, fleshed out game mechanic.

Ok from my honest opinion, it really just seems like you can't kill anybody without having to use the spells lol. You can't slice or stab without having to put a fire spell onto the blades. Or just going for the head which would be really annoying. And literally the extreme lag you get when you play it, my computer can run HL:ALYX on max graphics but it can't run U8 on lowest settings which I think is a major problem.

@@goatstrid TBH I play B&S for stress relief. I set it on unlimited slow-mo and try to kill people with their own weapons by punching and grabbing enemies. This update has made that much harder- which when I played earlier today was quite disappointing. There should atleast be an option to set that.

Use blunt weapons to kill your foes wearing armor. This is how it was done realistically and bladed weapons were used against the parts that were not armored. Why knights carried a dagger to get in-between the plates of their beaten foe and kill them.

@@julians9899 Don't know if you did it already but completely uninstall the game and download it again after also disable shadows for a lot more frames and maybe adjust the graphics a little it helped me a lot i had like 10 fps on old maps and like 1 fps on citadel after doing this i now have legit 80-90 fps on old maps and maybe around 50-60 on citadel

Tip: You can punch through a fireball without taking damage. You can deflect fireballs using gravity magic. You can block lightning attacks with lightning.

The gravity spell is delightful for one-handing weapons that would usually be too unwieldy to do so with. Decreasing weight *does* decrease the amount of force the weapon hits with, but since the gravity spell is transferred to the target when you strike...

For me on Vive holding the staff two hands and pressing the magic select button allowed me to fire as fast as I could press the button, moving or not.

Tbh I liked the old characters more than the new ones... I feel like the hands are too big to fit the body and overall I just dont get satisfied when fighting against them...

I run this game with i7 8700 and 2080 it and it’s still laggy so it will never be smooth as butter but i like intel and nvidia way more

so its pretty much dark messiah vr without orcs and without frames

I get max 16 frames when in combat on low settings with a i7-9700k, RTX2070, and 32 gigs of ram. So I am kind of jealous of these frames xD I also did the fix that has been recommended.

this is how A Nanite Swarm would work

ask for energy, ice, and mind magic. one hand of energy is like a short blast, both hands with energy = KAMEHAMEHA!!. ice slows enemies (you can blast the ground to make the ai slip), and mind gets the enemies to defend you/ attack their friends (this one shouldn't have an ultimate unless its super cool

This Skyrim mod seems awfully ambitious

only thing that annoys me is fall damage that's my biggest enemy and fear in every game now in blade and sorcery as well

I was able To get the update as soon as it came out but sadly I can no longer play the game😢 it just lags so badly your screen looks like 12 different ones jumping and ping ponging it f the walls! It’s really disorienting... literally was on the sand map and it was laggier than the new world! Is there an optimizer I can get? I have a GTX 1060 so it isn’t a terrible computer...has anybody else had this issue? And is there a way to fix this?

I have a love hate relationship with this update. I love it because it adds spells which make it more badass and cool and the new map. But I hate it because it changes so much of the core game which shouldn’t happen at least until 1.0. and the fact that it could have used some more bug fixing and fine-tuning but everyone on the Discord rushed them to finish it and pressured the shit out of the devs. I know this update will get better but right now it’s just kinda... disappointing.
