That was the longest standing jump i ever seen.

Love all the Flexifoil kites! Got a 4m BladeV at the moment and it's perfect! BLADES FOR THE WIN! =]

I'll give him 25-30m on that jump. The stock lines that come with a Blade are 25m and he landed at just about the same spot the kite took to the air.

thats gotta have been the single most terrifying expierience of your kite flying carreer..... WELL DONE!!!!! ive had my fair share haha

he landed in the place where kite took off and depending on that standard ff blade line set is 25m long this jump wasn't even close to the title..eh....amateurs :D

100 m in four seconds... so an average jumping speed of 90 km/h. Seems legit.

Wow man. This accurately captures exactly what happened to me in April 2013 in a soccer field. I ended up with an open right tibia fracture so I was stuck on the couch, unable to drive for just about the rest of the year. Did you or your buddy get injured? It sounds like someone fractured something!

Your flying on what looks like 25m lines. You land about the same if anything closer than where the kite started. I work that out to be about 25m maybe 30m max.You will get much further doing the pendulum jumps.

haha i know what you mean...i have a 3.5 bullet and i fly it in gales lol coz im stupid like that and i have dislocated my shoulders twice. because my kite is designed to pull with great force lol...so apart from the pain i will always do it lol and im gunna be getting the same kite as you coz getting pulled is crap now so i wanna get lifted lol :P

Same here, in 2013, a gust came out of nowhere. Picked me up 12 feet, dropped me about 25 feet away...bam! Open tibia fracture.

Most people live inland, and don't get to the water that often. They don't have the time and money to acquire and train with the more specialized kite surfing gear and skills.

coz if the strings are 25m like mine the jump was in between 25 and 30 meters.

@ase8989 actually kites are in square meter like mines a 12 meter but infact it's a 12 meter squared yours is a 4 meter squared. as you said you own the kite i thought you'd actually be able to know.

yeah,i stupidly took my beamer 3.6 out in high winds,got caught gy a big gust when i was jumping and open fractured my tib an fib after a rough landing,these kites can be dangerous if ur not careful!

power kitings pretty crazy but i dont see whats great about a 5m vertical jump killing you here, as opposed to rocking when you surf? why does it seem like theres so little crossover of powerkiters and kitesurfers, almost as different as people flying regular kites vs powerkiters vs snowkiting&landboarding&surfing

Haha "it owns" does it? I got a 4m hq beamer as well, as soon as I got it I knew it wasn't good enough for me, I wanna fly, not only be taken 1, 1/2m in the air which is what the 4m beamer does, good for learning how to fly a power kite, but it doesn't "own"
