This is an awesome video. I have one of these that I received as a gift this past Christmas. It is a very nice flying heli.

Nice one Patrick. I might buy me one aswel. Did you fly it with the DXs transmitter? Did it came with a bind plug ? Greetings from the Netherlands.

Yes, I started with Dxs, and it did come with a bind plug. I have since upgraded to the Nx8.

In SAFE, mine develops a drift to the right after a minute or so. Gradually one runs out of lateral control. It becomes a race to get it back on the ground before losing control. So annoying and I don't know what to do

If its a RTF then yes you'll definitely run out of trim . I had to bind mine to my spectrum Dx8 so I could program more trim .

@Ready get set Jam It is a RTF. However, if it is trimmed and flying steady on takeoff in SAFE. Why is the trim or whatever, then gradually moving away from its setting and causing the helicopter to drift to a point where there is no control left. I question whether it has scything to do with trim and isn't more to do with the Flight Controller.

@@tabdycollins Yeah sounds like there might be something binding or a servo acting up.

@Alexei Lancaster I'm pretty sure it's not a transmitter problem. It's a fairly new NX10 and I have no problem on any of my fixed wing aircraft.

Yes they make junk. This heli is cheaply made with a weak plastic frame (plastic all over), weak tail boom, cheap canopy, you name it. Also very underpowered. If you insist on buying a Blade helicopter, I strongly recommend the 150 over this one. Better built and much better power to weight ratio. Also check out some other makes which offer better quality for the price, For example OMP hobby, or even Eachine make better helicopters to name a few. This is grossly overpriced. That’s my main gripe. Nothing against you. If you enjoy it great. If you stay in the hobby consider what I said. Good job in the video.

Interesting that the 230s is one of their best selling helicopter's. The all "plastic" frame is very crash resilient as all get out and I've slammed it to the ground several times without any damage other than wiping off some dirt . True the 150 is a very good flying Heli also but there's nothing wrong with the 230s and it's only $269 RTF seem pretty reasonable to me. Just my 2 cents . I own a 500 T-Rex and 2 goblin helis but my little 230s flys just fine.

@@stringsattached67 Well you’ve been a lot luckier than me. Mine have broken even if I look at them wrong. I already cracked two frames without any noticeable crash. Tail boom is weak, canopy junk. Well, I guess we have to agree to disagree. I have one for sale if anybody’s interested.

@@stevejohnston8543 nothing is indestructible perhaps you may of had just some hard landings. They offer carbon frames for the 230s and different canopies and carbon tail booms for cheap which is what I replaced on one of my 230s now the 330s is built like what in my opinion the 230s should have been. But yeah there's definitely some better options out there.
