Here’s how I’m getting on with my large blackwork sampler. The first two panels are waffle and open lace patterns. I stitch them in very different ways and this video shows you how I worked out a different approach for each design.

Such beautiful work - I was immediately hooked. I have always had a bias for blackwork - when I found it in a library book it caught my imagination.
