We have been updating our own Blackstar FPV flight controller and we are excited to show you the latest version and features. Out latest version will be released soon, but as of the release of this video what you are seeing is what we are flying with. Our flight controller gives us the data we need to safely, confidently and consistently fly formation together.
All 4 of our 120mm Blackhorse Viper XL MKII models are equipped with our in-house designed FPV flight controller. This video demonstrates our FPV controller ability to display the information you need clearly and accurately as you fly. You can worry less with our FPV flight controller in your FPV plane.
Blackstar FPV Controller XL is designed to provide flight data to FPV Pilots of a fixed wing model aircraft, specifically larger faster models such as turbines and large EDFs. Access to low latency airspeed and altitude numbers makes it possible to fly these models in FPV safely and with confidence. The controller is capable of rendering on OSD and/or LCD displays to suit your specific model and equipment.

Very cool guys! I am flying the XL V1 with LCD, motion sic pan, DJI O3 and LiDAR in my Eflite Viper 90 and looking forward to updating to V2. I really like the OSD layout of the V2, very clean!

This is the first onboard FPV system that looks good through the cockpit plastic (or is it a glass canopy)? If the 03 System looks this good, I will certainly put this into a 4-meter motor glider if I could get on-screen altimeter, compass and variometer, which are all essential telemetry built into Spectrum receivers.

Not difficult at all really. We will release a video showing the computer based configurator & Goggle screen menu very soon so keep an eye out for that.

Thanks! We got the A/S on the left of the OSD. We are going to have 2 versions: the XL and the Mini. Mini should fit into an 80mm EDF and the XL will have external display and more onboard storage for flight logs and will also support a 'moving map' on the display. Both will have a stabilization function and (most likely) a basic autopilot for brown-outs and loss of video. Let us know if you interested in joining our beta-testing program.
