Great work brother, enjoyed the video keep putting them out. Will always cherish our first time meeting in my shop a number of years ago and value our friendship. Have a Happy New Years. Be richly blessed this day.

Thank you Sir. I hope to continue, I really enjoy it. I hope I’m not putting out too much bad info. You should know, I highly value our friendship as well. One thing you told me that has greatly encouraged blacksmithing for me - we were an hour or less into one of your classes and you look at my project and say “are you a blacksmith?” You just never know who and how your positive attitude is influencing others. And a Happy New Year to you and yours! Thanks, Brent
Looking good Brent. Put some heat on it!

Great video! I’ve started on my very first stock removal knife last week. I’ll try to have it done by the next lama meeting to show you.

Thank you. Not that I’ve worked on a bunch of anvils but by far it’s the hardest work surface I’ve experienced. Really enjoyable.
Excellent, Im going to challenge myself to do that tomorrow!

Looks Great Bboy, it is very enjoyable watching you mold your vision. I’ll make sure to show my Dad Is knarking an actual term used for that process??

Ideally, how thick should the copper be to make spoons?
@brentboykin9493
Жыл бұрын
I’ve been making mine from square stock but I usually end up a little under 1/16” thick when complete. If starting with flat stock I’d prefer somewhere around 1/8” thick material. I’ll try to do a video soon. Thanks, Brent
