Great video once again, and nice to see the heritage tours a bit busier, which will hopefully make them continue them next year.

The green fencing was for Elton John Concert and also the reason why half a dozen Flexity trams were stranded for a few nights at the Imperial Hotel. The points are controlled by transponder equipment in the tram.

I would of thought it would be running soon after going to the expense of repainting it. Thanks for watching Doctortrek.

I think the reason for 700 being modernised as appose to 717, is that 717 was nearer to original condition than 700 was. It was a shame they couldn't of left 700 alone, but at least it is still a runner. Thanks for your very kind comments 2259Ben.

I never realized that the trailer for the western train was once a pantograph tram.

Not sure what livery 631 will be in, but it's good to know it has the seats out of 700. The dewires on 600 do point to trolley pole problems with this tram as Bolton 66 was out on the same day and was OK. Thanks for watching Ashtramcrazy.

They have made me happy with the changes of the 700! Hopefully, it will be running regularly with the flexity 2's!
