Thanks so much Stephen for all your effort. Hard work and strength. A biking. Up and down gain. Appreciate how much effort and time is put into it all. Seemed a good turnout. I e never heard of believe it or not of. Ride the lights Blackpool. So was a first to watch for myself. Agains the bright lights of the tower enhanced all the illuminations. The illuminations were good. Loved the spitfires. Bet your had. Very sore. derrière !!!! Haha afterwards, joking apart. Have a well earned rest Stephen. Once again. Went a couple of times in the late 60s to the laminations they were fabulous then. I do think they've lost their sparkled really itsquite a poor show compared yo those times. Well done sir for showing us the Illu.inations 2023.

@@kitfrew9983 I know, it's so slick now. They used to take my breath away years ago. Maybe we're so used to bright lights now. There was just an innocent joy about them back then.

loads of bikes with no lights isn't there !!!, amazing illuminations, thanks for sharing , we came to Blackpool few days too early , I loved basil brush and sooty when we went on a full tram ride to Fleetwood ferry x

Thanks. Its great to see the full length. Ive always walked them so it takes much longer with the odd stop along the way and Fish and Chips at the end.

Promenade to the North is a lot hillier than it looks so well done Stephen...liked and thanks as always

Doesn't even seem 12 months since last uears vlog Stephen! I have to admit myself these lights arnt what they used to be.. by that I mean very much the same, same theme. Where as as a child there were magnificent hanging lights, mermaids, the Tiffany style lamps illuminations, even McDonald's had a sponsor one year I remember near the golden mile. Those were the best, happy memories or standing out the car sun roof waving the lights on.. ah those where the days ❤ Blackpool council or who ever runs these events get back to your roots and archives please 🙏

Great video Stephen looking forward to seeing them week of the 11 September gives you a flavour of them well done for riding in that wind and for getting to the end

Well done Stephen, not easy riding into the wind, commentating and filming. All that and watching out for other riders too! Might I suggest a long soak in a hot bath to help with the pain... Loved to see all the riders lit up bikes and families on the ride and those Spitfires are something else when lit up. Thanks again for the video Stephen.😊😊😊

Fair play cycling all that way. The lights have gone very poor compared to back in the day. Strange seeing sections with no lights and most sections are just a string of lights.
