We went on Friday. It was my first visit for about 10 years and the first as a dad. Thank you Scott for your encouragement in a recent reply about taking children to the park. I was bowled over what a good day we had, including lots of misty eyed childhood nostalgia from me. The rides were great but the staff were amazing. How friendly were they all. The park was really clean and well maintained on the whole. Got to say the National was very rough but still fun. Regretted going on Icon after a foot long Rollover dog and it nearly made a reappearance! Saw a car getting changed on the ride which was fascinating. Was green after so glad I didn’t go on the Enzo. Can’t wait to go back.

Cheers guys ... Excellent as ever, i do fear for the future of 'Pleasure Beach Resort' as it holds many great memories as i know it does for you guys as well! I guess time will tell

Great video. I enjoyed this one as it was fun seeing whether you'd make the ALL COASTER achievement that day. I didn't know that the larger seats on Icon (which I use) are taken off when ENZO appears so I recon that Mike should get the ALL COASTER credit!

You should do an “every ride” challenge, Alice in wonderland, ghost trains etc and see if it’s possible 😂 (on a quiet day of course). Or even an every small ride challenge

Does the park open before the rides open like at alton towers or does it open at 10am on the dot? Going bank holiday monday and wondering what time to get there for.

They usually stagger the ride opens in the first hour

BPB surely have to be concerned at what seems to be a lack of visitors? Understand that this was a Thursday btw. Great when you can just walk on rides but it cannot be good for the park. Haven’t seen one picture or video of a busy park this season. £15 walk around ticket is surely a no brainer at this point.

Maybe so, but the point being the Enso train reduces capacity and reduces how many can ride whilst on a one train service.

Am I the only one fearing that Pleasure Beach and all its history is going down the toilet because of a lack of willingness to maintain it? Wish she’d sell up and let someone who cares about the park actually save it for future generations…

Pleasure Beach are still flying ahead as far as maintenance is concerned. They have a large collection of older rides which cost a lot of money and they're all in a pretty good state. There have been some problems this season but overall it's a complete anomaly. Towers on the other hand has a cable car that is broken and a vekoma madhouse which is not operating.

Merlin have the money to fix their problems and can continue to invest. BPBR need to spend a lot, with dwindling attendances, to even keep what they have. I’d be concerned if it was my park.

We’ve both worked in a construction and engineering environment, it’s normal. Jack has made a career off the back off his channel, and Shawn TPW is probably more famous than most of those who went in celebrity big brother in January
