@Kev White I’ve listened as I’ve lost loved ones thru this pandemic and my mum as now got heart failure and kidney disease from the damage it did, I trust our nurses drs specialists and I listen to there advise, just want this nightmare over, whilst people ain’t complying it’s costing more lives and businesses

Hahaha jannet sturgeon 😂😂😂 we came down to Blackpool last Monday for 3 days and felt totally safe during our visit. Hopefully visitors continue to go dispute the government trying to ruin the country.

Yet all the test stations are empty Some of this stuff just doesn't hold water

My grandson needed a test, his mum had to take him to Wales for one cause there was none available near Blackpool. His appointment was 7:30 pm and he’s 6 yrs old. My daughter had to go to the Lake District for hers. Lack of tests, that’s why testing stations are empty.

Why are the bookies shut but the amusement arcades are open?

Coral island is my favourite arcade. Been in today and they have closed the 18 areas but as far as I know it’s open

Wow even despite pubs are closed or ones are open etc ....first time I've seen Blackpool so quiet it looks like a Sunday morning than a Saturday afternoon.... I was planning to be in Blackpool this week, but was checking what was going to be open etc. I now plan on going hopefully next month instead for couple of days . Despite what first minister Sturgeon won't stop me going to Blackpool! Unless she stops all public transport to Blackpool. Is the Tower and Madame tussauds still open btw?

Looks like total freedom compared to Melbourne Australia All business closed except for hospitals public transport and food shops. 5km radius from your home. Only allowed exercise for 2 hours. No house visits. All worker's have to have a permit to work. Up to $10000 fine/penalties for doing anything outside of the rules. Basically hose arrest even in aria's with no covid or any history of it.

@@jennyfoster792 We had to go into the Lockdown it had to be harsh to get rid of the virus. Blackpool is a 1/2 measure compared to the Melbourne Lockdown. We are actually eliminating the virus completely across our whole continent

Just buy a ticket for the pleasure beach as blackpool council have not told them to close and they are still selling tickets and encouraging people from all over the country to come. They wont refund tickets bought before the tier 3 regs either

Should not have pleasure beach illuminations arcades and advertising we are popen .holiday makers caused this we were one of the lowest to tier3 .

Here in Ireland we seem to get the worse restrictions before the UK does, we had the substantial meal in pubs thing in the summer, now the rule is you have to be in the outside area which no one wants to do in this weather, more restrictions coming tomorrow so there probably gonna close fully, not much longer till we're in full lockdown again
