Female rapping always overwhelming lot of people so that's why powerful vocals didn't get enough attention. But for me based on the style that I like. That's why if it's BigBang I like rap but if it's Blackpink I like vocal. Jut a little bit more, still tight tho.

Yes Jisoo love 😍

Actually, 3 of them already fluent in English. Jennie had 5 years study in NZ, Rosé with Korean blood was born in NZ and grown up in Australia, even she sometimes had a trouble about Korean words instead of English (based on Blackpink House, she used the wrong Korean words at least twice: the last moment of Jisoo as MC and when they planned what to do within their trip to Koh Samui Thailand). Lisa came from Thailand so she probably already learned to speak English fluently because she was about to go abroad even before the audition of YG held (she wanted to be a kpop star).

Rose' first language is English, she only spoke Korean at home. When she got to Korea is when learned she needed to work on her Korean. She and Lisa would play word games. English is Lisa's second language, she primarily communicates with her step-father in English, she refers to him as Daddy. He is Swiss and internationally renown chef. Lisa was 14 and did not any Korean except hello when she went to Korea.

@@outwest1014 I knew it. I just explain the fact that 3 of them already fluent. That Korean words think about Rosé is just comparation that explain about Rosé already fluent in English

I have seen many video reactions on this, I am very happy that Jisoo received all these appreciation at a time when she did not often hear her speak in English and then seeing this performance left everyone amazed!And even now seeing new video reactions leaves everyone amazed!

The rest of the members called Jisoo queen of harmonizing. They slayed this live performance. Rose with her Angelic Voice, then Jennie and Lisa are kicking the door with their rap. I stan 4 queens. @@faizalaziz4796 I know right? I always thinking about it too. This cover (Miguel's) was a song that they performed when they were trainees. They said that they prepared it by them selves and got a complement from YHS (YG's former boss). What I'm trying to say is YG know Blacpink can have that kind of song which all of them can show their speciality. But again, maybe YG know better than us 😁. (Still curious tho)

Sad but true. Jisoo is so great and she often underrated by people

This was first performed by them as trainees. YG required trainees to perform a dance routine, a solo and duet song and a group cover song every month. They chose the song, did the arrangement and Jennie and Lisa wrote rap lyrics. This performance was on a TV show "Party People" hosted by JY Park, CEO of JYP Entertainment (think Twice). As YG and JYP cooperate he likely saw their trainee performance. Which was highly praised at the time. As trainees their schedule was 6 day weeks, 12 hours a day. The day would be academics (most trainees are 15 to start), dance, vocals, music composition/theory, modeling, acting, and public speaking. Average time as a Trainee is 5 years. Trainees live in a dorm with their own bedroom. Everyone BE SAFE, sheltering in California.
