Blackpink is indeed Korean. They did debut 2016 under YG Entertainment and the members are (from oldest to youngest) Jisoo (Vocal), Jennie (Rap & Vocal), Rosé (Vocal) and Lisa (Rap). Some additional facts about the members: -Kim Jisoo has a husky voice, is considered beyond beautiful in korean beautystandards and has a very funny personality. She is born and raised in South Korea and is the only member not fluent in English. -Kim Jennie is rapping and singing, as a trainee she was considered to be the 'Princess of YG' because of her skills in Rapping, Singing, Dancing and her looks. She is born in South Korea but went to school in New Zealand for several years and is fluent in English. -Park Chaeyoung (English Name Roseanne Park, Stagename Rosé) was born in New Zealand but grew up in Australia. She has a sweet, honeylike voice and chipmunk cheeks. She plays various instruments. -Lalisa Manoban is from Thailand and spoke not a single word Korean when she entered YG Entertainment after an audition. Nowadays she speaks Thai, English, Korean and Japanese. She is one of the two rappers of Blackpink and throughout the Kpop-Industry she is considered to be one of the best female dancers.

Kpop isn’t always “pop Music in korean “. Kpop likes to experiment with other genres more then America. Kpop has hip hop , RnB , pop , edm , trap , rock , ballad, jazz , blues etc . "KILL THIS LOVE" is not so much about ending a relationship, per se (always wanted to use that), instead it refers to looking inward, inside yourself to identify the behaviors that get you into toxic relationships, and "Killing" that behavior in yourself so you can move on to healthier relationships. Jennie, on the swans, referred to the Yin/Yang, the crazy highs and bitter goodbyes, and admitted that she's doomed to repeat the same behavior. Lisa is stealing all the sweet cereal, she wants it all even though it's just a quick, empty high and means nothing to her. Rosé, who drove the car into herself, has a license plate that says "EGO", and Jisoo shoots a flaming arrow at her "weaker" self. yes, this is also K-POP. The most famous male group is BTS (globally speaking) and I would say that BLACKPINK is the girl group best-known abroad. Of course, in Korea there are plenty of good and talented groups which are very famous in Korea and some of them are also well-known abroad like EXO, GOT7, NCT, TWICE, RED VELVET and many others. In my personal opinion, among female groups I like BLACKPINK the most cuz their music and choreos are different from the rest of the female groups which are mostly so sweet and full of cuteness (korean fans love the cute things in those groups) but for me it's too much sugar. BUT, BLaCKPINK songs are pretty good, actually. I recommend you to react to TAEMIN the MV is called MOVE (Taemin is considered one of the best dancer in Korea)

Yes, this is considered k-pop. Before you delve too deeply into k-pop, one thing you should know is that k-pop isn't a genre. It's an industry. One misconception a lot of people in the west have is that all k-pop is the same, or at least very similar. It's really not. Much like western pop, k-pop ranges from rap to rock. There are solo artists and groups with up to a dozen or more members. K-pop encompasses a very wide range of music from songs with Latin influences to full on hip hop to ballads with soaring vocals to songs that are so sugary sweet and poppy you can almost feel your body developing diabetes. The one thing all those groups have in common is, as I said, they are part of an industry. This means that not only have k-pop performers been specifically chosen for their talent, many, if not most, will receive extensive training (years, not months) to hone that talent before they even debut. You know how Japan is pretty much kicking the west's ass when it comes to rock? Well Korea is doing the same when it comes to pop. *Screeching halt* I found myself typing another novel so I stopped the k-pop lecture there. I'll end with advising you to not limit yourself to just BTS and Blackpink. Yes, they are the biggest k-pop groups here in the west, but there are so many other _extremely_ talented groups and solo artists out there as well. I could probably give you at least a half dozen really good suggestions right now, but I'll limit it to just one. most kpop groups have rappers of some sort and a lot of kpop mixes in r&b and hip hop nowadays. another group you should check out is dreamcatcher since they are the only kpop girl group that mixes in rock/metal with other genres. 'you and I' or 'piri' would be good intro songs for the group.

Blackpink is indeed Korean. They did debut 2016 under YG Entertainment and the members are (from oldest to youngest) Jisoo (Vocal), Jennie (Rap & Vocal), Rosé (Vocal) and Lisa (Rap). Some additional facts about the members: -Kim Jisoo has a husky voice, is considered beyond beautiful in korean beautystandards and has a very funny personality. She is born and raised in South Korea and is the only member not fluent in English. -Kim Jennie is rapping and singing, as a trainee she was considered to be the 'Princess of YG' because of her skills in Rapping, Singing, Dancing and her looks. From Thailand 🇹🇭 But she is fluent in English , korean , Japanese and obviously Thai. Jisoo ( pronounce Jee-soo) : Vocalist . She’s korean from South Korea . @@outwest1014 she went to my middle school when I lived in New Zealand, it's the school in the documentary, Waikowhai intermediate (which is a public school) then when it was high school she went to the city private school acg parnell college which is for girls and boys too. She went to New Zealand when she was 9 (late 2005) but about to turn 10 and left mid 2010 to join YG.

Blackpink is the only K-pop band I like. They just do it so well, they are just a blast to watch and listen to. I still prefer Floor and Nightwish, but this is a fun change of pace for this old dog!

yes, this is also K-POP. The most famous male group is BTS (globally speaking) and I would say that BLACKPINK is the girl group best-known abroad. Of course, in Korea there are plenty of good and talented groups which are very famous in Korea and some of them are also well-known abroad like EXO, GOT7, NCT, TWICE, RED VELVET and many others. In my personal opinion, among female groups I like BLACKPINK the most cuz their music and choreos are different from the rest of the female groups which are mostly so sweet and full of cuteness (korean fans love the cute things in those groups) but for me it's too much sugar. BUT, BLaCKPINK songs are pretty good, actually. I recommend you to react to TAEMIN the MV is called MOVE (Taemin is considered one of the best dancer in Korea)

Yes, this is considered k-pop. Before you delve too deeply into k-pop, one thing you should know is that k-pop isn't a genre. It's an industry. One misconception a lot of people in the west have is that all k-pop is the same, or at least very similar. It's really not. Much like western pop, k-pop ranges from rap to rock. There are solo artists and groups with up to a dozen or more members. K-pop encompasses a very wide range of music from songs with Latin influences to full on hip hop to ballads with soaring vocals to songs that are so sugary sweet and poppy you can almost feel your body developing diabetes. The one thing all those groups have in common is, as I said, they are part of an industry. This means that not only have k-pop performers been specifically chosen for their talent, many, if not most, will receive extensive training (years, not months) to hone that talent before they even debut. You know how Japan is pretty much kicking the west's ass when it comes to rock? Well Korea is doing the same when it comes to pop. *Screeching halt* I found myself typing another novel so I stopped the k-pop lecture there. I'll end with advising you to not limit yourself to just BTS and Blackpink. Yes, they are the biggest k-pop groups here in the west, but there are so many other _extremely_ talented groups and solo artists out there as well. I could probably give you at least a half dozen really good suggestions right now, but I'll limit it to just one.
