That way Rosé will be able to promote more on music shows since most of them are either very restricted or even cancelled right now, and Rosie deserves the best promotions for her first solo. Also with Big Bang allegedly coming back in December YG would most likely not prioritize Rosé...

@@TheAetarotman The latest rumors I heard about Rosé's solo was that it would be around the same time Big Bang had a comeback but if BB would have the November month and Rosé the December month it would of course be slightly better. However I still prefer January and February rather than December for Rosé since her promotions would still clash with the end of the year awards (the still active ones) where Blackpink will hopefully promote "The Album". Also if BB do have a comeback so shortly before Rosé there is still a high risk she'd be neglected by YG, and I don't want what happened to Jennie (with Mino's comeback) to happen to Rosé too.

Idk but above them all, I feel that Rosé is the real artist in terms of being in sync with music. She had it all the way long since her childhood. She said it herself that she does not want to be the girl that “just sings” and knows how to write a song. She truly is in loved with music and her real passion just overflows. I bet she’s going to be an amazing solo artist as well.

She used to sing because she liked it..then her parents were the ones who wanted her to become an idol becuase she liked siging and playing instruments.. idk if she really wanted to become a kpop artist. She still puts so much effort on everything she does.

It's like they pointed out to her the obvious statement that she likes music because she didn't realise it even though she was surrounded by music and then gave her opportunity to indulge in music so, that when she's older she will not have regret that she didn't try to be in the music field when she it older. It was more of a pushing her to do what she loved since she was younger. That's what I think

A star! Rosé's gonna be huge both in Korea and the west. Hopefully she can finally release a full korean album and an english album really soon when she's free from yg ent because I'm eager to hear more solo music.

That’s actually not true, music lives through in all of them. Jisoo and Lisa fell in love with music as soon as they became trainees. Jisoo originally wanted to be an actress but later became a trainee, now she makes covers and you can see her love and passion for music. Lisa was born to be an artist, even in her hectic, busy schedule she makes time to do dance covers and when she’s rapping you can tell how much she loves doing what she does thats why she performs 100 percent every stage. Jennie is similar to jisoo, she auditioned after suddenly wanting to do music and then just became amazing at everything because she was born with a talent. Theyre all musicians through and through but because of work other than music which yg gives them a lot they don’t seem that way.

ren • It's nothing against the other members. It's just obvious that Rosé has the biggest passion for music, which is completely okay. She dedicated her whole life to the music - she was in a church choir, learned how to play instruments, wrote songs. I'm sure that the other members love music, but Rosé is just a true musician. If BP would disband, I'm pretty sure that she would be the only member who would stick to a singing career. The other members would probably release a few songs as well. But Jisoo would most likely focus on acting, Jennie on modeling / being an IT-girl and Lisa on being a TV host / judge / dance instructor etc.

Not into kpop or bp but I watched the docu the other night out of curiosity and this part really made me admire this girl. The song perfectly fit in the scene. The way the camera moves around her ugh that’s a beautiful shot. This girl and and that girl Jisoo really moved me.

Hate it or love it - Rosé needs to break away to express her true self. As a huge fan of hers I know that she is a true K-Pop star through and through, but I feel like she will one day have enough of BP in order for her to shine as her true authentic self. She is a true MUSICIAN. She is a natural born ARTIST that needs to CREATE her OWN music and showcase it to the entire world. I watched “Light Up The Sky” and was really touched by how passionate Rosé is for making music but she keeps it personal. She holds back because she knows that her duty is to fulfil her role as a K-Pop idol, the most popular in the world at that. I truly appreciate her strong work ethic to master dancing which was not her strongest feat at first but damn she quickly showed everyone up. She is the only BP member who trained the least years in comparison to the rest of the members - just that gives you an idea how much of a talent machine Rosé is. She is a natural and dances and sings so effortlessly, but with intense accuracy every single time she performs on stage. Rosé - you are amazing ❤️❤️❤️

Agreed i feel that rosé and jennie both, would have very emotionally driven songs if they were allowed to participate more. I feel like they both have alot more to offer in terms of talent and vocal ability than they r allowed to express through kpop. Especially rosie.

Hopefully with their contract expiring, they will be able to negotiate for better terms if they renew their contract. Hopefully they will get to have more influence in their music and more freedom after all they’ve done for and with YG.

There was one thing that made me sad in this scene, and that's when she mentioned that she misses her trainee days because back then they were constantly surrounded by music... I hope from now on they're able to make more music because they are artists, after all!

Rosé is an excellent girl!!! She's sooooooooooo good in everything that she does! I'm so proud of her and I can't wait for her solo!!!! I think her solo's gonna be EPIC!

This part of the clip just made me realize that Rosé is indeed a musician to her core. The love and respect she has for music.. Such depth and approach she gives.. Just so beautiful. YG is so lucky to have her. Rosé is a metamorphosis.. These tones and tunes in her head.. Can't wait for her full bloom.

The fact that she allowed the team to film her at her vulnerable state, how she express her fears and how she opened up to the audience that herself is the biggest demon inside and how passionate she is. She's truly a risk taker and brave enough to face the pros and cons of revealing such things

It was also nice to know that YGE distanced themselves from the docu. The director, Caroline Suh, said in an interview that YGE told her she can do whatever she feels is right for the docu but as long as the girls feel comfortable. That’s perhaps why Rosé showed her most vulnerable side-she felt comfortable with Caroline and we all know she is a very emotional person. You will also notice in the docu how reserved Jisoo is because she’s not comfortable talking about her family and personal life, while Jennie revealed all about her journey as a trainee, being a very independent person (living by herself in a foreign country at the age of 9).

It's incredible the way that Rosé loves the music. She definitely was born to be a musician, it's in her blood. I was waiting for her solo for a long time and now that it's practically around the corner I couldn't be happier.

When she said she miss her trainee days "because I was always surrounded by music" that broke my heart, they spent most of the time doing photo shoots or something, they don't get comebacks and they don't get to write their songs even though they have the potential, they don't deserve all this, I hope they could be treated well in the future...

I guess is because they invest lots of time in dancing practices in order to dance like they do. Someone could not invest the same amount of time singing and dancing. And in their case choreographies take them most of their time. Also, promotions, magazine covers, lives, all the idol stuff.

If Blackpink were ever to disband, I believe Chaeyoung is mostly likely to continue pursuing music. Jennie would become an ambassador/model, Lisa would become a professional dancer or dance teacher, and Jisoo would become an actress. I get the most artist vibes from Chaeyoung while Jennie/Lisa/Jisoo all give me idols vibes ☺️

No thousands of musical instruments or effects just Rosé and her guitar. It's the best raw,pure and angelic voice you would ever find

1:10 but baby you just did 🥺 i can say this part is my favorite in the documentary; seeing her in this form, so raw and authentic, is just beyond admirable. i was so moved that i could literally feel my heart and soul clench. this girl really is something else, the special kind.

this was one of the moments that touched my heart the most, and Caroline Suh's camera work is just mindblowing, not only the transition from Jisoo talking about life paths, but also the entire shot of rosé is filled with emotions, brought by her singing and by Suh's vision, a truly cinematic masterpiece

I didn't think I could love Rosé any more, but watching this made me gain so much respect for her. Such a slap in the face for those who say Blackpink doesn't care about writing and gets everything handed to them

I always watch this part as well as the one where she recorded her part for Ready For Love 💗 She turned me from a casual listener to an actual fan of Blackpink. And of course Rosé is my bias 💗💗💗

She's really the Main Vocalist of Blackpink. She's the best. Shebhas unique voice. I want to hear her sing more. I really want her SOLO now or atleast maybe give us an official month when they will release her Solo. We are waiting since forever. Give her a chance to show her talent more to the world.
