Being fluent has nothing to do with being articulate. Some people can be fluent, but not all people can be articulate. Rosé is fluent and articulate at the same time. She's also very articulate in Korean, though she's not that good in Korean as she said.

This is a REALLY good interview. He made everyone comfortable and asked some really meaningful questions. I hope that more people can actually treat them as a group and not as individuals. I know that some of the members don't get the treatment that they deserve (such as line distribution), but all of them shine and had memorable moments. And it should always be emphasized that there's absolutely nothing wrong with her getting the most lines in Ice Cream. She didn't do anything wrong and the producers/songwriters didn't do anything wrong. It was a great choice. Her rapping was great and the majority of people who enjoyed the song had nothing but praise and love for her parts. There are plenty of songs where she's had the fewest lines (DDDD, Stay, Don't Know What To Do, Kill This Love, Hope Not, etc.) and plenty of songs where she's had the second fewest lines (Boombayah, Whistle, Really, etc.). It's ridiculous and childish beyond belief that there are actually some nutjobs out there making a stink now just because she got more lines this time.

@Talen Ted Yes, but in the context of BP the high expectation is accompanied by anxiety that another comeback is not gonna be soon, they're used to being starved, hence trying every way to make ANY comeback as eventful as possible. BP's hardcore fans keep bragging that with such a short list of discography BP maintains to be relevant, but they don't understand the logic of it. The less songs and the more sustainable hype you have, your fans effort are more CONCEENTRATED in the few discography, hence higher numbers of listenings and views. Comparing the number with those groups with longer list of discography whose fans get a lot to choose from (hence more distributed number of listenings and views) to measure RELEVANCE is just a mistake.

They debuted 4 years ago and is now one of the Top GG, even Kpop Group around the world is a huge feat, its just part of the marketing and because of that they would be relevant for many years to come. Being in a group is not just about the music and their solo activities help them present themselves and there are no rules that states otherwise. Also their music, yes they have more smaller options to listen unlike other groups and it sucks as a blink but tht doesnt mean that their of low quality actually its quite the opposite, their music is a bop and very memorable.

BP is known for their tons of endorsements, modelling career, once in a while comeback that relies on Teddy's productivity, and having complete songs handed to them, just like most KPop GG groups except those with members involved in their own music production; let them be. I just wish they stop misusing the word 'revolutionary' 'cause there's nothing revolutionary about them: girls in expensive clothes✅, male gaze in their song lyrics✅, having one of the Big3 KPop corps behind you✅. And their songs sound bop because of the banging beats, but they sound similar to each other, nothing new, same old lyrics. Ice Cream has more than 5 producers behind it but can only achieve this kind of quality, I'm disappointed.

I cried so much as well too plus I just saw like threads on twitter of screenshots of comments where they all hated on Lisa, where they were like calling her mean words just because she was actually given much more lines now compared to what she was given before and it really makes me mad that they treated Lisa like this :(( she didn't do anything to deserve this, plus if they were all mad about her having more lines they should be mad at YG not Lisa and plus in the past songs Lisa never really got as much lines, this was one of the only times she could do this and everyone just straight up bashes her. Best Blackpink interview I've ever heard💕 1- the interviewer is engaging and have chosen great questions and true things to point out about them. 2- the girls are very comfortable and gave such genuine and elaborate answers about how we actually connect with them and how they click with each other, not to mention they're no longer afraid to talk about their work flow finally.

I love this guy’s way of interviewing. He’s very natural and very direct but not too pressuring, he makes things flow natural and nicely.. :) he really guided the interview well and got the right questions with the right concepts in mind.

Jennie is such a well spoken grounded person. It reflects in the way she answers the questions. She is so wise and sweet. Rosie too. An amazingly done interview from both sides. 😊

This whole interview was EVERYTHING! Everything they said was so cute. For example I love when they said that they were family and they learn more and more about each other every day. I especially loved when Jennie started talking about how their fans have said that they inspired them because there’s other people and fandoms out there that say that Blackpink isn’t inspirational and nobody gets inspired by them. But Jennie being the queen she is LITERALLY SAID that their fans have TOLD THEM that they inspire them. Even if Blackpink doesn’t have the most inspirational lyrics them being confident is still very inspirational for many others. They uplift us and we uplift them. They really don’t deserve the hate they get. Blackpink are successful women and let’s help them continue being that way, even though they could already do that themselves lol💞 LOVE AND CONTINUE TO SUPPORT BLACKPINK!🖤💗

I love how jennie acknowledges the fact that the message may not be inspirational enough for the fans. But its the fact that their confident image gives others confidence. Thats shows good awareness. And its true they do put up a positive image for many. This interview is so nicely done. The questions matter. And the girls answered them in such a grounded way. Jennie and Rosie are so well spoken.

And it's sad because antis bash BLACKPINK for having shallow and meaningless lyrics in their songs, but they don't realize how many young girls all over the world pick up their confident vibe and channel that into how they present and carry themselves. That's priceless. They connect with each member whether it's in terms of music, fashion, or personality quirks. That alone can make a huge difference in someone's life.

Jennie is quite possibly one of the few idols out there who are transparent. With her it's quite simple, what you see is how she feels. She doesn't feel the need to conform to societal expectations of how idols should always be perfect, smile and attempt to appear friendly. I like her genuine personality as it's rare to see especially in the KPOP scene. Although I do understand why some other people would be triggered by her presence because it's something they're not used to. Her honest expressions shows her trust towards her fans to accept her as an imperfect but very relatable human being.
