55k is capacity of toyko dome and i believe its packed! The fact they sang in Japanese/rap in full Eng blown my mind away. You are witnessing All Ace members girlgroup. I'm mid 40s and never into kpop before until I found them on youtube in 2019, now happily staying in Blackpink rabbit hole.

I love how they’re just having fun with it. They really enjoy hanging out with each other. Jisoo and rose’s gorgeous vocals, Lisa and Jennie’s rap flows. It’s just amazing🖤💖

Fun fact: In the year prior, Mnet Asian Music Awards aka "MAMA" (Biggest Kpop award ceremony in South Korea equitable to their Grammy's) Blurred BLACKPINK's group photo that they displayed on the stage for everyone to see. BLACKPINK since then didn't attend and what they did was this. On the same day MAMA was held, Blackpink Filled Tokyo Dome with 55,000 fans while the 2019 MAMA was also held in Japan with 40,000 attendees. Meaning there were more people who attended BLACKPINK's concert than a whole Award show where *UNINE , Itzy, TXT, Chungha, Monsta X, Hwasa + Dua Lipa, Ateez, Oneus, WayV, Got7, Mamamoo, Park Jin-young , Twice and BTS* performed.

Never will I ever underestimate the fact that they do concerts in Japan in Japanese instead of the original Korean. The talent and dedication that takes to pull off something like that. No American star would take the time and effort. It's stunning

Whenever they do live in Tokyo, they switch all of their Korean lines to Japanese and the rap verses are also new (in English)... Edit - also while live, they usually go with an American band who's also under their label (if I'm not wrong😅)

YG has that thing going: live band version of their songs in a concert and highly produced songs in studio. YG has a serious style and it is a music entertainment power house from Korea.

They walked out on a huge stage TOTAL BOSSES!!! not knowing if anyone was going to even be there to see them. And the waves of people going into the horizon. It was a moment, EVERYTHING Was hitting hard. Live band, killer performances,... they just owned the stage. It was THE MOMENT when they landed in America. And they KILLED IT. EVERY SONG, EVERY NUMBER,.... they just killed it. They all said they felt it was one of their finest moments.

Concerts like this are the reason why they are the biggest girl group in the world 🖤💓

They trained a collective 20 years together as trainees, and have now 6 years of being the biggest Kpop group in the world under their belt. Yeah they're good.

Another thing about the trajectory of Blackpink as a stage group. At some point, audiences wanted more interaction with what they were doing. So somewhere in 2019 when they are performing, audiences began yelling the lyrics back at them. It was respectful, in the downbeats and fit nicely so as not to mess them up. But they DID become a touring Rocky Horror performance group. You can hear it in Don't Know What To Do (comeback Stage). They were doing this song on a lot of TV show type things with live audiences. It's also one of their overall best most precise dance performances. I don't know that it is as audible in big stadiums as it is in a TV show setting. But fans are definitely still doing it.

They sounded amazing live, with some song switch ups. That is an impressive crowd, and well deserved. You should see the crowd for Metallica "Enter Sandman" in Moscow 1991.

Tokyo Dome is honestly one of the greatest concerts I've ever seen. It's certainly got the be the greatest live kpop performance in history.

Your reactions are the way I felt 2 years ago when I stumbled upon them. I had been following a Chinese woman that goes by the name GEM, which is an acronym for get everybody moving, for the past 5 years. I began to teach myself Mandarin, which only works if you have someone to practice with, and I even learned to sing 2 songs in Mandarin. One day I clicked on Whistle and I was instantly hooked. I began to research them and I watched everything about them I could find on KZread. Every series, special, music video, everything. They are the sweetest, most talented group I've seen. I still listen to GEM but not as much as Blackpink. I have never been one that goes to concerts but if I can score tickets to their LA show Nov 19th...I'm there! I'll be the guy with the t-shirt that reads "oldest living blink". LOL

Because they trained and worked really hard for it. Best rappers and vocalists! Humble too!

I'm telling you; these girls are really good on live stage performances! all their songs are top tier when it comes to musicality. Also, they are all good singers and dancers. pure talent at its finest

They are just built differently. Born with talent and trained and gloomed by the best.

It’s just so fun 💗🖤 There’s not many artists that can sell out stadiums like that, but I did just see The Weeknd at a sold out Mile High Stadium in Denver last month with over 70k people. It was one of the best nights of my life 🖤 I wish BP was touring somewhere close to me 😞

It would be cool to see Blackpink perform at Red Rocks. The seating capacity is only about 10,000 (which is probably much too small for a BP concert). But the ambience is so nice. Maybe if they combined it with a live feed online concert arrangement....

I was at that Tokyo Dome concert. Just amazing!!! You should check Lisa’s Lili’s Films with your wife. You’ll enjoy for sure!!!

OOOHHH!! DUDE!!! Do you really wanna go here?? This is OUTRAGEOUS!!! They come back for this encore after an over 2 hr concert and they are not even tired. not even sweating after a full concert. They do this number. Brings the house down. Then they introduce the band and do freestyle street dancing on literally one of the biggest stages on earth. Toyko Dome is called the BIG EGG (fits 55, 00). because it looks like one. If you were an alien landing in Tokyo from space, you would see Mt. Fuji, the National museum,... and this giant egg which is Tokyo Dome stadium. One of the largest on earth. The ONLY venues that could hold them on their last tour. If you're wondering did they sell out at these stadiums??? Have you been on Tokyo subways??? People were waiting outside hoping to get in.
