the fact that 'Crazy Over You' is not even a typical kpop rap song which a common style to most of popular kpop bg, this one is a straight away oriental trap beats with hiphop vibes. very rare for a kpop group to come out with this kind of stuff, a unique track off The Album for sure.

This song is so underrated. I think people are just use to the beat picking up during the chorus. This is different, and mind you they are singing basically about being crazy for someone and the production plays well with that emotion. We all know Blackpink can do it all, and this was just one of many more too come. I bump this with the bass booming everytime it comes on because that bass in the chorus just slaps!

They all can sing so I felt that they didnt need that. Maybe they was just playing around because they know they some pretty savage bitches you cant manage.

I think Crazy Over You was like the marmite of the album, some people loved it and some people hated it. Personally i really enjoyed the overall beat and i love how they switched it in the chorus as it was really unexpected and different to what they usually put out.

Personally i think this is one of their best and unique songs. Jennie is the ACE of blackpink and yg and she can just do EVERYTHING. Literally everything like jungkook from bts. A whole triple threat. Jennie and jisoo took part on writing lovesick girls. Jennie also took part for the producing and composing. She can rap, sing, dance, play multiple instruments, a designer etc.. And we can also officially say that jennie is the unofficial leader of the group since jisoo approved it many times that jennie is the decision maker and overall organization is done by her and also just recently on the new reality show jisoo said that jennie plays the role of a leader in the group. Me and including jensetters (jennies fandom) and REAL blinks wished that jennie would rapped more since she is the main means the best rapper of the group and we waited for 2 whole years for her to rap but she got so little rap lines and it just hurts. What people don’t realize is that this track sounds like a straight homage to that Timbaland/young Justin Timberlake/Britney Spears era of music with the instruments in the production. What people also don’t realize is by having the “drop” go half-time, it adds much more emphasis on the dynamics of the track, making it sound much more swagged out and effortless. That way the last CHAAARGEE double-time moment also sounds more explosive and driving. This is a great track from the BP producers and writers and a great performance by the girls!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
