True, she seems way more comfortable than during her debut days. But still needs to improve in letting loose tension while dancing. Without any doubt it’s hard to feel natural while dancing, if you’ve never had the experience beforehand.

@@makeitright3810 that's true, but Jisoo did have a little bit of dancing experience, Rose is the one that had no dancing experience, and look, she's the lead dancer. Dancing is just not Jisoo strenght and that's okay, nothing wrong with that, she should be more focused on her SP.

I have to admit i cant watch jisoo dance coz i dont wanna ruin blackpinks capabilities in my head she was better during debut days maybe because they were training all day but now she became really bad she has a stiff body language its hard to watch knowing blackpink has a talented and flawless image i cant even watch her solo stuffs way too stiff when shes dancing im sorry but shes ruining blackpink image unintentionally. Its actually sad but she has really great voice and personality

@@lmc2940 it just depends on each person. Her dancing experience was still not developed pre debut in a way where it gave her an advantage in dancing. Stage presence and charisma on stage mainly comes from knowing what you’re doing with your body while dancing. So it’s a combination of different things that she has to work on.

@@hannahfrent6339 I actually think her dancing now is way better compared to pre debut/debut. You should watch her solo stage for Liar on their born pink tour I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Also I don’t think she’s ruining their image at all, bp were never known as a dance group or even a vocal group so it’s not that serious in my opinion.

idk the way I see it Blackpink is almost 7-year-old group, Jisoo's dancing is probably as good as it's going to get. She's had loads of time to go hard on working on her dancing if she really wanted to, but I guess other stuff takes more priority. Which is fine.

Blackpink members' individualities are what made me a fan & not just a casual listener who'd follow the latest fads of which group is hot. I don't need a troupe of equally talented dancer-singer-rappers. That would be too boring to follow long term.

I always love CeeCee's honest reactions. She wholeheartedly compliments when impressed but isn't afraid to critique in places they could improve or point out mistakes, and does it respectfully in a very empathetic way. That's how you know the reactors are being completely truthful and aren't feeling pressured just to appease the core audience, who by the way, can be very sensitive and defensive when it comes to their favourite artists and groups. Lisa is amazing in dancing!!! she is very professional and powerful in dancing and her techniques are very clean and standard! But yeah, Jennie is usually the one to get the most budget, acuatlly Shut Down have been the most expensive MV just because of the tank and Jennie's clothing.

@@lmc2940 I am a rose stan I know how you feel, but they have made it clear multiple times they choose what they wear, if they don't like it they can change no one is forcing fucking BP to wear something they don't want to, sure they might get better suggestions, but in the PV M/V I don't think you can argue Rose's sets/clothes were cheaper than Lisa's or Jennies, considering both her and Jisoo got more solo sets. Shutdown yea, Jisoo definently had the cheapest set. But to your point 100% early on they favored Jennie immensely, just look back at early Rose.

Jisoo's issue with dancing is the same issue for some people with Chinese for example or maths, it's something that no matter how much you want to improve by working hard, it just won't get better, for example lady gaga, she's been dancing for more than a decade yet her dancing is still not that good just like jisoo but i don't complain because i love that they're trying

The Choreography is where you really notice... this group was trained with/meant to have more members (Hint: Original Rumoured PinkPunk line up/YG's Girls Generation)

Jisoo’s stage presence is great by eastern standards because it’s very soft and innocent which works. For a song like this that’s quite western I agree she needs to know how to switch that presence because the type of energy brought is very much culturally influenced

Jisoo's body is definitely naturally stiff, just her walking looks awkward so i don't think she's intentionally the issue

Jisoo is my bias and i lover so much, I agree that she has improved a lot over the years, but even so, I feel that she needs to show a little bit more facial expressions when she's performing songs like Shout Down. Be more sassy and bad ass. But well she's an Angel and a sweethart so it's ok hahaha

BUT with many of the younger groups they have a younger fanbase and criticism or commentary of any kind isn’t actually welcome. Similarly if a group is super popular and I’m not keen on what I see/hear it becomes a really big deal and then derails into cyber bullying toward me because I didn’t like a movement, vocal or outfit. So all of that is just a bit boring/annoying for me so I’d rather leave SKZ alone. What’s in existence already is more than enough from me lol. Thanks again for the kind feedback! YG has always been a frustrating company. Seems to reflect the personality of Yang Hyun Suk who is really good at some important things and really bad at other very important things. He's really good at spotting unique talent. But he's also often kind of immature and childishly greedy. Although YG did a lot of things right in selecting and training the members and putting Blackpink together, and launched them very well, he also did what he usually does with female groups, namely treating them like second-class, lower priority artists compared to the boy groups. It's only because he got really lucky and BP's broad appeal to a global audience exceeded anything that YG ever expected that BP finally started getting the attention and priority they deserved after YG just put them mostly on hold for their first two years so that he could focus more on the boy groups and his own dumb reality show projects (such as Mix9, where he starred as the savior of idols in OTHER companies). The recent news about YG jacking up the BP concert prices for the encore concerts in Bangkok is a bit sad. Maybe it's because the huge stadium is more expensive. But it's not a good look and probably will turn off a lot of people because it looks a bit too greedy...like YG is really pushing to see how much he can get fans to pay.

Well to be fair the dance line does go 1)Lisa 2)Rosé 3)Jennie 4)Jisoo and yeah not every member is exceedingly good at everything but when you put them all 4 together it makes sense, create that balance synergy and they cover & compensates each others “weak or not as strong” areas making it work at the end. But ofc, there’s nothing wrong with improving further & there’s always room for improvements too. Although, I will say Jisoo’s dancing now got way better & improved a lot compared to her rookie days. It seems that she has gained more experience wise & confidence now.

Jisoo is taking dance lessons from Lisa. She even said that one of her goal is to improve in dancing. From pre-debut to now,there's been an improvement. She'll continue to imrpove,she has a long way but she'll get better as the time goes by. Jennie lost confidence sometimes because she's had some trauma with the media,hate and toxic stans that are invading her life 25/8. She's coming back slowly with her confidence.

The only member that i can think will still attract attention without clothes or heavy set is Lisa. Heck they put just her and her dog Love in shut down MV and very little skin showing and people still were talking about her because she brings the energy in blackpink. Rose and Lisa do get the shit end of the stick most of the time but with Lisa I'm honestly tired about how many unprofessional mishaps keep happening to her by her company. Rose is given lines but no major effort . Lisa likes different things and that makes her stand out.

Anyone paying attention knows that in terms of global platforms, global charts, youtube, etc., Lisa's "Money" was really on the money and succeeded far beyond anything else you're comparing it to. Trying to claim that it was just due to tiktok is ignorant. For one thing, making a song that will hit big on tiktok is also an achievement. It's not something to sneer at. But she also got the most #1s on itunes globally. Hit biggest on the most important Billboard charts, charted longest and even beat out Drake for the top spot on the BB hip-hop chart. Got the most YT views and likes (already more than 1.3 billion views for just Money and Lalisa). Meanwhile in Korea, YG did literally NOTHING to promote "money" and barely anything to promote "Lalisa". She didn't even get to go on any Korean TV shows (even though her clips from previous group appearances on Knowing Bros are literally the highest viewed clips in that show's history). I'm trying to find some logic in what you're saying, but there isn't any logic to find.

It's YG, they don't even gave the girls credit for their song writing. Do you really think they will let them choose all the outfits? LOL

I know jisoo doesnt like dancing. She said it isnt fun. Which makes sense, she didnt want to be a kpop idol, she wanted to be an actress and yg put her into idol training. But yeah, she does need to learn a bit better dancing, especially after 7 years.

Y que culpa tiene Jennie de resaltar más? Por si no lo saben las chicas eligen sus outfits de la ropa que sus casas embajadoras les dan a cada una Channel, Dior, Celine YSL, etc. y se las dan para promocionar porque una vez vistas en ellas estas se agotan, asi que el presupuesto de ropa viene de las casas de moda no de la producción. Jennie destaca en outfits porque tiene buen ojo, ella elige absolutamente todo, desde zapatos, makeup, peinado y accesorios, lo pueden ver en sus preparaciones para el fashion week de Paris. Asi que dejen de hacer comentarios asi porque solo atraen hate a Jennie y de alguna manera estan minimisando el gusto de las demas chicas.

jisoo has improved a lot over the years and today I don't particularly see the need for her to do more than she already does, her career is consolidated, her focus is not dancing, therefore, I don't think it's fair to demand that from her. Nobody has to be perfect in everything and besides, she looks great.

I'll risk it all for Jisoo but what she said is facts. though, looking back she has improved a lot. Proud of her! Can't wait for her solo. 🔥

the members have a say in their outfits at this point so if there’s a difference in presentation it’s most likely because jennie has an amazing eye for fashion and is super passionate about it!

nope sorry I watch their concert and I would say Jennie rose Lisa jisoo for me..I'm not hating jisoo but her performance in liar is not good I mean feels like it's boring
