The thing that annoyed about that was that when all the other members have had a song where they got a minute of lines and got way more lines everyone else, but with You Never Know Jisoo has similar amount of lines to the other members

ok let me explain this via contrasting jisoo and rosie - rosie is main vocalist and jisoo is lead vocal, so rosie will get higher lines than jisoo jisoo and jennie - jisoo is lead vocal 1 and jennie is lead vocal 2 BUT she also got rap verses so rap verse + vocal verse is greater than just a vocal verse jisoo and lisa - just like to jennie, lisa can have both a vocal verses and rap verses

Lisa tops the rap distribution Rosé(my bias)tops the vocal distribution Jennie tops the line distribution Jisoo(my bias wreaker)tops the visual👑👑💗💗

You choose who gets the most lines from who fits the song the most, Jisoo has much a rather deep and soulful voice while yg songs are known for their powerful but sweet vocals. So obviously jennie and rosè will have more lines than Lisa and Jisoo. And yg is known for their heavy rapping in songs, examples T.O.P, cl, Bobby, Mino, Lisa while jennie is a flying rapper so she will not fit most of the raps

Well Jennie's a lead vocalist too. So... It's only gonna be fair if she gets the rap lines she deserves so Jisoo gets the vocal lines she deserves. It's a matter of who fits with that certain line too. Jisoo slays with ballads and low tone songs.

If the producers stick to the same distribution despite the numerous complaints, we're gonna have to just go with it and appreciate the fact that the girls are happy and contented with the songs they release. Probably if they start giving JenSoo the responsibility in producing--like the whole song then we'll see the fairest distribution.

@@shirleyfranco9967 There is, the first lead vocalist is someone who can sing better than the other lead vocalist, Jisoo has a wider range and she is also starting to able to support higher ones, her husky voice is starting to change a bit, and she's great are harmonizing. Jennie has an average range but wonderful support and good tone. But Jennie is a Main Rapper so it is wonderful that she can sing, dance, and rap!

Lisa is rapping more than Jennie, cause Jennie is way better vocalist (she's lead alongise with Jisoo!), so she can do both, and Lisa is only vocalist (main dancer, lead rapper and maknae also ofc). So we have two ways: Lisa is getting small account of lines and Jennie is getting way way more than Chaeyoung and Jisoo, so line distribution is so unfair. Or stay like that with more fair line distribution

Actually you can say *Jennie is second lead vocalist after Jisoo being first lead vocalist*.... Because vocalist is basically based on their *abilities not line distribution to say Jisoo can take higher notes than Jennie and can go deeper than Jennie in vocals.... Jennie get more lines because she fit in those lines* Yg did dirty to all members but they *by their said they distribute lines on the bases of voice fittings* So....

yea because it’s a 4 member group. there could be a one minute or more difference (that’s if their songs were longer) and the percentages would still be within the 20-25% range; that wouldn’t be really fair.

So whether she rap or not she will definitely sing....but if there is only one rap in the song they give it to Lisa as she can rap only ....if two rap will be there they give both like whistle,d4 ......it's not possible always.....still Jennie is getting rap now....so it's fair....if Jennie only rap no singing then also people say she is lead vocalist she should sing....if she do both in every song it's not possible.....so now the balance is correct.....

Lisa is the weakest vocalist of the group so they just made her rap. Jennie is very all rounded that's why she gets more vocal lines than Jisoo. Jisoo's voice sometimes do not fit some of the vocal parts. She fits more into ballad and that's why she's first in YNK.
