AND your first Stephen Graham Jones? 💜💜💜 I personally didn't think I LOVED the only good Indians at the time...but that book still lives in my head 2 years later. His writing style takes some getting used to, so I should probably re-read it now that I'm more into his stuff

@@scottieshereereads For the l “Of the Night” prompt, I am reading House of Hunger by Alexis Henderson. For the prompt “A Deal is Made”, I am reading Bones of Ruin by Sarah Raughley. For the prompt “Multiple POV Murder”, I am reading, We Don’t Swim Here by Vincent Tirado. I don’t have hard plans for the rest. I have War Girls by Tochi Onyebuchi on my Kindle. That would work for the Body Parts prompt, but it’s also long. I am hoping to find a copy of Leslye Penelope’s new one, The Daughter of the Merciful Deep, when I go book shopping this week. If I do find it, then that one will be the Ancestral Knowledge prompt. If I can’t find it, I might read River Mumma by Zalika Reid Benta. I have that one on my Kindle. For the Free Space, I might read Devil in a Blue Dress by Walter Mosley or Trouble in Queenstown by Delia Pitts or A Cup of Flour, A Pinch of Death by Valerie Burns. I have eARC copies of the last two that need to be read soon.

Dont worry girl. I also didnt like Razorblade Tears. I dnfed it actually. I havent found an S.A Cosby I liked yet.
