These are great orders them I always fall asleep tired from being at work all day and it’s always light out these help me fall asleep better. I also have some led light strips in my room and they work better in the dark I like the dark so that’s will always be closed my boyfriend seems to love them too.

I just ordered these by Nicetown in the teal color (not the sea teal) I went with the ones with the metal rings by them and love them!! We have an old house. My husband and I have a room with one two Hugh individual windows and one real big long window. I think it's actually supposed to be an off ice but it's our room. My husband works two jobs needs his sleep and these are perfect no light comes through at all. Reccomended.

@@WannaBuyIt Picked some up today off Amazon for my patio doors! I have blinds but they aren’t effective keeping light out. I play lots of xbox and there is nothing worse than getting that glare on the screen. I would have overlooked them if you hadn’t had done this review. Thanks again!

This will work to stop that bleed through. Only light that will slip through as you see in the video will be from the bottom. If you don’t have a window seal lip that sticks out a bit and the top because of course there is no curtains up there.

Does it help dropping room temperature? During summer time, I'm blasting my AC and looking to use less of my AC.

Yes it should. Blackout curtains provide insulation and reflect the sunlight, and thermal curtains do this as well, I think better a bit, but in general these curtains will keep your room cooler as long as they're able to insulate.

It doesn’t hold that heat out but just having the room pitch dark with none of the light coming through the whole day beaming down on your room does make a little difference to stop heat from the rays I guess. But when it come to just being hot I still was burning up out here in Cali when I had them up as well 🥵

How are you getting the curtains to clip to the wall?

I'm using the 3m strips you can cut 1 into 4 pieces and just stick one on the wall next to the window and one on the curtain. I did the outside of the curtain where it folds over against the wall because you can't see the 3M on there. but that was just me being picky here is the link you want to try them out and they are great for a lot of other stuff to because they hold up 16Lbs. my wife has her full body mirror hanging with 2 of these strips. amzn.to/3qNzVVK

Is it as dark in real life as it is on camera? Since cameras sometimes auto adjust to the level of brightness in a room. Is it get as dark as night time or just a bit brighter?

When I used it my room would get pretty darn. How close it would be to night time I will say 90-95. If you can keep the leaking out from the top and bottom.

Thats only top and bottom . Light doesnt come through the actual curtains...at least not mine. I got black.

Do these also block noise? Saw them advertising that they are also good for noise reduction.

The light leak on the top and bottom of the curtains when they're closed annoys me. I'd make some kind of skirt that goes over the top of the curtains to minimize light bleed.

Yea sucks when I moved to this house the room didn't have a window lip frame. Like my old house did so that light came from the bottle.I used that 3M Velcro tape until i got shutters

It’s all good. I didn’t get offended or mad about it. I actually laughed but I did say it a lot when I started.

This guy is probably lying - I bought the curtains after seeing this review and boy do I regret buying from this company. I've been getting weird spam calls from China ever since, and their curtains first and foremost do not work. I also received a different size from what I ordered but their customer service told me to donate them and that they were keeping my money. I paid 140 for the curtains.
