BLACKMAN SHOWS UP IN A CHINESE VILLAGE AND THIS HAPPENS....THEY DIDN'T BELIEVE I COULD SPEAK CHINESE

Blackman Shows Up In A Chinese Village And This Happens....They Didn't Believe I Could Speak Chinese
In this video, I showed up in a small Chinese village, met a few Chinese elders, got into many conversations and encounters with the locals. They actually didn't believe that I can speak Chinese.
I also tried some local food of this village and later showed something special I promised to show you at the end of the video.
This is how it is Chinese react to Black people?
Enjoy

In ancient China, if you identified with Chinese culture, you were Chinese. And China is a cultural country with 56 ethnic groups. Han people, Manchus, Mongolians, Tibetans, yellow people, white people (Chinese Russians, Chinese Tajiks), and black Chinese (southern Chinese ethnic groups) who identified with Chinese culture made up the current China.

It was cute, but (to me) a bit incredible. I once worked with a Chinese woman who asked me how I got my surname. I explained that it came from my Great x3 Grandfather, who was Chinese (I have receipts, but I didn't feel like I had to explain in detail. Not her business). She called me a liar, and said it was "impossible." I started to go for the jugular, and explain parts of Chinese history in the U.S. that she obviously didn't know, and certainly wouldn't want to hear. Logic could have taught her that ppl need "companionship," and the Chinese men who came here to work, didn't accept even the IDEA of celibacy...so she should have "done the math," since she was too lazy to do the homework.

There ARE homeless people in China, bc of the economy. *Maybe* there's none in that village (I don't know), but it DOES exist in China. However, I would LOVE it if my city was as clean as it is in that village. We're not bad, but I don't think ppl care enough (here!) to keep it that clean. I gotta say I was amazed.

The two animal statues in front of the house are stone lions (石狮). The stone lion was often placed at the gates of imperial palaces and mausoleums of kings because it was regarded as a symbol of power. Meanwhile in Chinese folk culture, the lion developed into a symbol of bravery and good luck.

@@JLXCKX In English and several Western languages, the guardian lions have often been referred by a multitude of names such as: "Fu Dogs",[4] "Foo Dogs", "Fu Lions", "Fo Lions", and "Lion Dogs".[5] The term "Fo" or "Fu" may be transliterations to the words 佛 (pinyin: fó) or 福 (pinyin: fú), which means "Buddha" or "prosperity" in Chinese, respectively. However, Chinese reference to the guardian lions are seldom prefixed with 佛 or 福, and more importantly never referred to as "dogs". Reference to guardian lions as dogs in Western cultures may be due to the Japanese reference to them as "Korean dogs" (狛犬・高麗犬) due to their transmission from China through Korea into Japan. It may also be due to the misidentification of the guardian lion figures as representing certain Chinese dog breeds such as the Chow Chow (鬆獅犬; sōngshī quǎn; 'puffy-lion dog') or Pekingese (獅子狗; Shīzi Gǒu; 'lion dog'). The Chinese have established Chinese language schools just as the Soviet Union did in Africa in 1950- 60 downwards. They have introduced Chinese language in Africa universities . Their embassies have Chinese language centres. But it is all good , Africa should deal with each country base on equality and equal opportunity and benefit .

Like you, I am an African and I'm very impressed with your command of the Chinese language. Like you, I have mastered, besides the English language, another major European language. Coming from an African country, where so many languages are spoken, I am ashamed to admit that I do not know any other besides my own mother tongue, let alone another African language. Without doubt learning another language is an important tool in our arsenal of navigating a very divisive world which, as you've demonstrated in your video, can bridge gaps and bring people together. I have just come across your video and it is very informative. It is good to see how welcoming the Chinese are in their country but worryingly, there are out there reports of Chinese people in African countries treating our people with contempt and disrespect. Well done & keep up your good work!

Just subscribed, you're a breath of fresh air👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😍 You display such cultural competence, which will certainly be a real asset in your chosen pathway. These Chinese prove social decorum is topnotch in their communities. Everyone is so friendly and respectful. Brilliant content 👌🏾👍🏾🤞🏾
