Just start listening to different genres and bands you never listened to before... you'll encounter these bands and more in no time 🤘

The first four albums from Skeletonwitch were damn near untouchable. So good and so underrated.

Discovered them from this vid. So much to dig in to. They're fucking great. I dropped out of this scene around the time they started and am back now I picked the guitar back up. Lots of great shit from around 2010 onwards to discover. Feel free to recommend similar from the last decade ✌️🤟

@@darealjoff19 Melodic Deathrash... never thought of this name for the hybrid genre. Also, I wouldn't say Revocation is that similar to Skeletonwitch - their riffage is so untraditional, they sound like freaking Veil Of Maya at times.

the album it's on, Tara, is a masterpiece start to finish. I work at an Irish Pub and it's my go to on every Paddy's Day haha

Love the fact that it started with old Skeletonwitch.

That was satisfying! Thanks for throwing in 1914. Criminally underrated band.

That Behemoth riff was spicy

I'd go with blackened Thrash, but that God Dethroned riff totally slays.

we need more blackened death metal content!

Aura Noir stands out among black thrash with classic celtic frost style riffs that are simple and just so memorable

I need to get back to listening to them. I listened to Beyond The Permafrost (album), but that's it. I was really surprised at how melodic it was. Badass band playing badass music🤘
