I love these skis. Hard pack / ice they are weak and I do feel like they have a bit of a speed limit due to the short radius but I ski in the mid 30mph as average and they are great. Tons of energy coming out of turns, groomers, side hits, I can ski moguls dangerous fast, zipping between bumps then pop off and double them. Best skis I have ever had

Had mine a whole season. Love them! I have to push back slightly and say that the Mirus Cor's are indeed good on hard pack. Sharpen your edges, they'll have plenty of bite. I should note that I'm 6'3" 250lbs and ski hard. They are the most fun you can have below 40mph. At 45mph you can feel them get a little skittery but not to the point of danger. Completely missed in the video is this ski's freestyle abilities. I'm doing spins for the first time at 47yrs old. The Mirus Cor will probably bring out the fun side of you!

Not my skis so I could not do much about the edges unfortunately. I’m looking forward to the Octto

Great honest review and I guess with longer runs, short radius is a lot of turns 😅. Coming from a Slalom ski with 10m radius I find these are as energetic but much more playful and easy going on all types of runs. Like you said, they are amazing on blue and green runs. On smaller eastern mountains it’s fun to get as many turns as you can to make it worth your money 😅. Hopefully we’ll share a chair on Whistler next month. Love your reviews 👍

I think both of you came at this from a very open perspective, and your comments definitely seem to reflect the kinds of conditions you folks end up generally skiing. I had the opportunity to spend a morning on this ski at a Black Crows Ski Sauvage event at Killington back in December. Skiing here in Eastern Canada, these skis are well suited for the kind of runs and conditions we have, and can make skiing a lot of fun. When compared to my Elan Slalom skis, the length differential (165 vs. 178) made a big difference in the straight line stability of the ski, the Mirus Cor was significantly less twitchy, although it is still a ski that is more comfortable on edge than riding on the flat. Glad you had the chance to try them, and if I lived where you do, I would very likely share the same perspective. Love your content.

@@AndrewGustyn thanks for the response. I’m on and off piste here on every run almost so they do not make sense for me

Great review. I'm due to change my skis next year. Good idea to stop at Urban Alpine and try different skis for the day. I'll stop there next time I'm going up. !!!!! Weather ???? Can I mention your name ?

Sure. Just depends on who you talk to if they know me 😂. Drew is the owner but Daryl and Jeramy are great too

I have been skiing Dynastars with 68mm under foot and 12m radius for the last 10 years. I love tight turns and love to carve. I feel like this ski would suit me well and would be a nice upgrade from my 10 year old dynastars. I usually ski the midwest, with a couple trips to Breckenridge a year. Thoughts?

I felt similar! tried them for a day, and they were fun but not for me. I really liked the corvus tho, I felt like I carved better on them, and they were more stable on choppy too.

These make you feel good even when just looking at them. And when you cklick into the bindings, they make you feel even better. I however disagree they aren’t good on steeper slopes. They suck on hard and icy, that’s true but when the snow is softer these are a hoot even on EU black slopes.
