    I feel like I can still remember the progression of phones I saw in my life. The Nokia brick phones, the flip phones, the nextel walkie talkie phones, then the first phone that I remember taking the world by storm, the Razr, followed by sliding keyboard phones (Sidekick and Chocolate), then trying to make all electronics as small as possible which led to the Juke, then I remember the Blackberry, and finally the Iphone. Funny enough, I have been an android user for forever, but I don't even remember when android smart phones became mainstream.

    Yeah I remember my sister and I had a pink razr we shared any I thought it was so cool! I've always been an android person too. The book gets more into android and how that came about after the iPhone announcement

    Android slowly crept up behind the scenes during the time that iPhone got all the press and limelight. Thats why its hard to remember.

    Saw the movie. It was great. Glad you did this video. I'm waiting for the library book -- people ahead of me for it. EDIT to add: Palm's Yankowski was an ass like that in real life. Hilarious that people will only know him due to a movie about BlackBerry!

    Blackberry movie - it goes to show you that the people who are creative with technology often aren't the foot soldiers needed to deliver a corporate mass produced product. The was a part in the movie where he talked about everybody having to suffer because the technical people chose not to be both competent and creative... That was great. The corpulent corporate douche COO might be effective at pumping out the units, but he destroyed the soul of the company that made coming to work enjoyable. Of course it doesn't matter how much of a hard ass you are, if you're diligently promoting the wrong product.

    I had a BlackBerry I don't remember which version early on and then later on I got the storm and I thought that was so cool. I do remember wanting an iPhone when it came out I was on Verizon along with several family members so switching to AT&T was just really unappealing. When they released iPhone on Verizon that's when I got my first iPhone.

    I just watches the movie and i must say ur recall is impeccable lol also we talk about this like it was ancient history ,it wasnt that long ago. I still have my BBbold and it works lol. Also i was working my first job when cingular came out with apples iphone and i distinctly remember our ceo ,the smar guy from the movie stan sigmond or whatever pushing sales of the iphone heavy.. he even hinted that a watch from apple may be coming out soon... and this was in 2007 way before the apple watch was heard about in public...

    Thanks. I just saw the movie and loved it. I was wondering if in real life, according to the book, if Mike was an engineering genius like he is portrayed in the movie. Also, did Mike come up with the technology?

    I believe the answer to both questions is yes. But I do recall there being a lawsuit involving something with the email patent because someone else had also come up with it.

    @@WhytheBookWins Yeah, I don't think it was stolen by Blackberry. I think it was simply because the man came up with the idea on his own and patented it first. I think that happens in the tech industry. Is that how it was portrayed in the book?

    Please consider doing a review on the book stealing myspace. There's isn't a movie but there are a lot of short docs on KZread with the real facts and also an interview with Kevin Anderson and Tai Lopez.

    Hey, how much do you read per day? Pages? Or hours?

  • @WhytheBookWins

    @WhytheBookWins

    Honestly it varies. This month I've had days I don't read anything. But other days I'll listen to an hour or two of an audiobook. Some days I do the audiobook, plus another hour or two of reading. Then I've had days where I read for a good chunk of the day! So I don't have any kind of routine, it just depends lol. But since I read on my kindle I go by time not pages
