America’s culture is very dominant-both good and bad. It’s spreading like a disease all over the world. I’m from the Caribbean and I’ve noticed the same thing there. Our culture is now rotten. The young girls want to be IG models and KZreadrs. They will do anything for attention. Gone are the days when you could distinguish Black women from different countries. The internet, and especially social media, was one of the worst things for our culture. Bad behaviors now quickly spread like wild fire. It now makes sense why Arab countries protect their people from Western media. They want to ensure that their culture is preserved.

Facts would be admitting that Black girls have seen their own mothers disrespected by Black men. Facts would be admitting that Black men have multiple baby mamas. Facts would be admitting that Black women have been called bitches and hoes for decades. Black men replaced beautiful R & B “soul music” with gangster rap and all this other junk that overshadowed Maxwell, Lenny Kravitz, and all the amazing older R & B male artists and groups of the past. This dude is a misogynistic narrow minded big mouth. Black people have had a far more complex and nuanced journey than he is describing.

Black women who are friends call each other "bit*h" as if it was and endearing term. Eesh… 1. I noticed a lot of comparisons between religion and race. A religion is a value system. A race is just a social category. 2. Making value statements around race, is the epitome of racism. There are Black Jews, Black Christians, and Black Muslims whose value systems have nothing to do with their race. Black is a colonial designation, not a true ethnicity. 3. The appetite for the Black degradation described here (which is real) is sponsored and consumed by non-Black people. It is marketed as Black and definitely marketed to Black people, but this is part of a pretty old marketing strategy to get the attention of non-Black consumers, pioneered in the United States. The elevation of the Black underworld as representative of all Black people is driven by external forces, while actual life-sustaining institutions (churches, colleges, working families) are promoted within Black communities but are too boring to be marketable.
