IMHO Whedons only flaw in this movie was his writing around Captain America. He did much better in AOU but that was because he saw how the Russo Bros did the character in Winter Soldier.

One woman kicking the asses of three big men, and Coulson acts like he's listening to Muzak.

2:41 I appreciate how hard the choreographers work on the main characters fighting moves but they utterly suck at deciding what the henchmen are supposed to do. Dude was just standing there like a stunned NPC in a video game

This reminds me the excitement leading up to the first Avengers movie. An excitement that started building since Nick Fury first mentioned the idea in Iron Man 1. Just seeing it come together was fantastic and the movie didn’t disappoint

I miss the excitement leading up to the MCU films, everything up to the first Avengers was magic.

One of the most greatest movies of 2012, still own the four disc 3D Blu-ray right now and the other three after it.

the chain leg stretch is great for Sciatica issues.

She deserved a better Black Widow movie long before they killed her off in the last Avengers movie

There are very few directors that can add wit to a scene like Joss Whedon. The "I not give her everything..." sexual inuendo is brilliant. The current Marvel films destroy a moment with slapstick humour. Compare this scene to the terrible Captain Marvels interrogation.

The best actor in the avengers series. Next to loki and thor. The rest dont carry the emotional depth or acting skills. Sorry not even iron man. Black widow is the emotional acting core of the movies. Thor had some real strong moments too. Especially in Endgame.

What was inappropriate for children in the 1st movie. The violence? It wasnt rated G. But PG-13. The 2nd one had a some sexual innuendo. These arent G rated movies. Theyre rated for teenagers 13 or over. Childrens movies are rated G🙄 If you want to allow your child of 9 through 12 years old to watch it. That's ok with me. That's your choice.
