It's for mutting unwanted noises that happen on the headstock and a little down the bridge, those are out of my control, it's impossible to mute them by hand, unless I keep my finger on the headstock all the time haha It's necessary when recording 2 guitars each side!

Is this recorded as a single guitar and not panned or recorded multiple guitars and panned them?

2 guitars each side panned all 100% L R, the same for the solo, using 2 cameras at 50mm lens, that's why you don't see each other. This give me 2 guitar takes and 4 camera angles, in this case I also used one more from my gf

What tuning is it Drop C#?
