I have empathic tendencies. I used to carry a black tourmaline in my pocket at all times in my twenties. At some point I was at my mother's house and she put my pants in the wash. The tourmaline broke in pieces and my mother asked me why I had a piece of "coal" in my pocket. The weird conversations you have to have with people when you're into crystals... Recently I got interested in dravite (a brown tourmaline which mixes black and green tourmaline properties.) It is often suggested for people who come from dysfunctional families. It creates a connection between the root chakra and the heart chakra. I find it intensely relaxing. I do suffer from anxiety, so being this relaxed due to the influence of this crystal is really eye opening. This is what I've been missing. Such an immense feeling of relaxation and well-being... I love crystals!

I just got mine today!! Before I got it I was out in public and I had the worst anxiety with so many energies of people around. After I got it I felt SO at peace! I knew the crystal was levitating towards me since last week and this week, I kept seeing the stone pop up all over my social media feeds. When I walked into the crystal shop my energy was called toward the corner of the shop so I walked over and there was the black tourmaline! Instantly, I knew it was meant to be! I felt so connected and protected already. As I was still searching for more crystals my mom said she would wait for me in the car as I finished searching for my crystals and something told me to take my time, so I did. When I got outside my mom said omg we just got hit by a car! I said what! Where? And it was on the side that I sit on. Instantly I thought, wow! There was a reason for me taking my time inside the store, I knew the crystal was protecting me already! Thank the Most High!

I have a black, tourmaline, palm stone. It’s carved out into the shape of an apple. I call it the apple of positivity. I use it to let go of self restriction, to let go of unrealistic expectations that I set on myself, to forgive myself when making mistakes, and many more. I also use it as a hand fidget. I don’t throw it up and down or anything. I just play with it in my hands by rubbing it and feeling all over it.

Black tourmaline is by far my most favorite stone! I also prefer it to be in the raw formation. It's so pretty!

I wear my Black Tourmaline pendant everyday. I'm just beginning in the crystal world.

This is the crystal that made me a believer, I bought my first piece a week before last months full moon and it put it outside overnight in the snow ( in Canada here)... the next day while reading I held it and it literally throbbed in my hand. I thought I was nuts, took a 5 min break, then placed it in my other hand, same thing! Kind of freaked me out a little, but it was a larger piece so I went out and bought some smaller ones and I'm just loving them all. Always carry one now in my pocket at work, or driving in my car.

Black Tourmaline is like an addiction. I definitely can't be without it. You are right. All the energy depletion we have experienced over the past 4 years took its toll. The feeling is real after working with this beautiful crystal. The cleansing of the aura, the release of tension, & the protective forces all around my being from negative sources is amazing! Appreciate the vid. I've bought beaded bracelets in the past in hopes they would help but it's only the last few months I've started trying to learn about the stones/crystals. Finally got a selenite slab and tourmaline crystals (haven't programmed them yet) to help with my bracelets and chakra necklace. But wow. Yes! That tingling sensation is exactly what I feel! And an instant relief from anxiety. I was really skeptical about crystals, but open. I was walking through a metaphysical shop, just observing and picking up crystals, and when I picked this up I had an intense reaction to it in my hands which is exactly what you describe and what other people describe in the comments. As soon as I started working with it omg, I can feel it unblocking my chakras and healing my physical body and I can just feel this really nice space growing around me that feels like protection and a sphere of calm around me. I’m still experimenting with how I feel with different crystals but I have to agree that black tourmaline is amazing! I’ll have to try switching it from hand to hand after handling electronics for extended periods of time. ✨

Great video! I just received a mining bag for my birthday & it had a nice palm sized chunk of black tourmaline. I put it in a cord necklace today and I’m thrilled that it fits, looks great & offers such amazing gifts of protection. I haven’t held it in my left palm during meditation yet but recently, while meditating with malachite - I felt my palm vibrating. Then I put it on my heart - same thing - I experienced physical vibrations. I’ve placed a selenite wand and other crystals on my stomach and I’ve felt gas bubbles under my skin. It seems to me that the more you work with crystals, the more you’re able to tune in physically to their vibration. I would recommend consistency and practice - and I would have zero doubts that eventually you would experience magic & wonder. Thank you!!

hmm, I have been black tourmalines that have some other minerals mixed in with it that give it different color variations, it you salt cleanse with black tourmaline I have noticed there are small white salt deposits that get left on the crystal and you have to do another rise with non salt water to remove.

I wish I could tell a story and make it make sense. I can say I've learned it also excepts good healing energy like a battery. It's not just the negative types of energy. Last thing. I believe setting them in salt water can help to clear them.

I got into Crystals big time more than 10 years ago, but the past few years I have drifted away from using them ( arrogance on my behalf). The past 2 days I had picked up an attachment ( through my pendulum I know who and where I got it from), and have been getting entities a lot recently too, no matter how many times I clear them and practice visual protection. I felt something around me last night, I knew straight away as I got REALLY angry for no reason and started cursing God and all that is wrong in the world. I realised what was happening and picked up a small piece of BT that was on the table near me and put it in my pocket. In 10 minutes or even less I felt totally calm and peaceful, more so than I have done for days or even weeks not just like before that attack or whatever it was. That was one amazing wake up call and reminder of the power of crystals. I am back on board again LOL....... This video was a great refresher for me, thank you so much Courtney ! 🙏💗

That's so cool, there must be some sort of exchange between crystal energy and the body, so cool. I would say whatever you are trying to accomplish the size might play a small factor. The palm stones are just have a nicer way of resting on the body when meditating with them yet tumbled are great if you just want have something in your hand to play with and get like "inspiration" from, I like to use both really and really depending what the stone is sometimes I'm like "oh yah I definitely feel like I want a larger one" so it just depends what the use will be with the stone, I hope that made sense 🙈

I’m kinda new to this stuff. When have tourmaline near by is it a matter of using it as hand held or can you have it in your jacket pocket. Sorry if this seems like a silly question

No not silly at all!! It can really be either or, I think taking time to handle the stone in your hand really helps with syncing with the energy. It is also beneficial to keep in your pocket too, whatever feels like you will do the most is best :) Hope that helps!

This will be a great experiment with you to try out this first tourmaline piece, I am excited for you :)

Hello! 2020 has been so hard for me and for sure for most of the people because of the pandemic. Ive been pretty depressed, sad, and demotivated. I think one of the reason is that, from giving advices and cheering up my depressed friends. I felt like me making them feel better made me absorb their bad energy and its hard for me to get rid of it or get over it. Ive been reading about Black Tourmaline for protection for bad energy and also, it makes the negative energy become positive energy since this stone cleanses. I also want this to protect myself from curses of people thats probably jealous of me. I also want to give it to my mom and sister for their work. I also read about deep red Carnelian, it restores vitality and motivation, and stimulates creativity. And this stone also links with me being a Virgo. I have this gut feeling that its going to be a good combination, but im new to this so im asking those who are professional when it comes to minerals so that i dont make a combination that counter each other. Is this fine if i wear this stones together? Im thinking of making a 4mm beads of bracelet in each.

Hi Jerome, I totally know what you mean with absorbing the bad energy, black tourmaline will help with that soo much and you are totally correct with pairing these two together. Carnelian works with all 3 lower chakras so you can pair carnelian with any lower chakra stone, black tourmaline being associate with the root would be excellent. Yess! It's so interesting how Tourmaline does this with sensations, it's amazing!! Smoky is such a great crystal ah so essential when I need to really slow down or just detox from people lol :)

It is not said to have a cleansing energy with other stones however if you are feeling the urge to try it out, def see how it makes you feel and if you notice a difference, could be a fun experiment!

@@margaritah2477 If they are resting on top of the salt yes, they are all okay around salt, not salt water though - black tourmaline somethings gets salt deposits attached to it after a salt water bath

Hi! :) I wouldn't drink the water, I think charging water in the indirect way is safer and better, simply place black tourmaline next to your glass and let it charge the water for a few hours and then drink :)

I have a small stone, a necklace, but i stopped using her because i had big breathing problems wearing this stone. I was a heavy smoker :P So, if you smoke be very prepared with oxygen tube or something :)) This stone is real.

I would say if you feel more relaxed and grounded, less worry.

My first crystal was black tourmaline. I touched it and it felt like a strong circuit. I carry it everywhere. I bought a cut tumbled black tourmaline. It didn’t feel right in my hand and it was heavy. I quit carrying it and left it in my truck after selenite cleansing. After a while in the truck I went to move it and it was lighter. Don’t know why. I keep it in my truck. I have several of them. They are so nice and I have my tourmaline in my hand at most times.

Hi darl, recently i bought black tourmaline bracelet but it gave me an headache & felt nauseous for certain time. Is it normal symptom? Or do i need cleanse/programming it before using it? And how to program it? Btw, from Malaysia with love 💜🖤

It is important to make sure to cleanse the crystal before wearing it, that might have been the reason it felt a little off when you put it on. I would do a smoke cleanse, and leave out so the moonlight charges it with high vibe energy. After cleansing I would say a little intention out loud for the bracelet to call in the highest good for the use of the stone, hopefully it will sync with your energy better next time! :)
