Glad to see you guys back. This was the channel that helped me get started in Warhammer so it's good to see you guys making games again. It started with watching Dameki playing Drukhari because they were my first about a year ago and now I'm still watching Dameki because I'm playing Dark Angels the most. PS in about a year and a half I've collected 9 armies :/

Damn, I mean I have only been collecting about 8 months now and I only have 4 and 1 isn't built yet. Although, Sisters is my main and Bricky has been a great inspiration for my gameplay.

Good having you guys back, something to watch for 10th no longer gives you that much free movement, you can only consolidate if you end that move on an objective mark no moving toward it sort of thing. ❤

Nothing better than the thought of a couple deathmarks teleporting around and planting feces in the shape of hands in helbrects sanctums to piss him off 😂

Love seeing Templars appear!! I think Garret was misplaying the extra vow strat (when he did the lethal hits and such earyl on). The Fervent Acclimation strat specifies it has to be activated in the BT players command phase. You can not activate the extra vows (in this case lethal hits) during the charge/beginning of fight phase which it seemed like Garret did. Just something to keep in mind!!

pretty sure he also picked sustained and took the enhancement for 5+ crit hits if sustained was taken but didnt use it

I don't think Bricky played the Night Scythe correctly. He just placed it turn 2 on basically the edge of his deployment zone in the center of the battlefield. Based on the rules however, it has to be placed in reserves to start the battle. Then on turn 2 it can be set up like a strategic reserve, meaning it has to be wholly within 6 inches of a battlefield edge. And since that happens during the reinforcement step, it can't move. So the earliest it could have arrived in the position Bricky placed it would have been turn 3. Yeah, the Night Scythe unfortunately kind of sucks this edition, particularly as a transport.

The overlay for this battle report is super slick, thanks for the content yall!

Glad to see you back very much enjoying the content again small thing I'd prefer is if the top down camera could be rotated in a way to match the front on camera (I.e. The bottom of the top down is the closest edge on the front view and the right hand side (RHS) of the top down matches the RHS of the front view) so the swapping is less confusing So for this video for example Brickys necrons should move right to left on the top down to march the front view camera

Intro card is looking good. Editing is looking much better! Camera work is looking tight too! Absolutely excelent return. Ps. Just finished watching another vtuber react to your 3 nutshell vids. Always great.

Sweet game! I love the paintjobs of both forces. Small thing I noticed was forgotten: Cryptothralls have Fight-on-Death.

The best combo in necron book is plasmamancers and telsa immortals It may not be optimal, but having 150% hit rate is amazing

I believe with the current rules, only precision weapons can specifically target him. I'm just starting the hobby now with 10th though so there could be something I'm missing

Great game! Can I just request that we cut to the top-down a bit more often. Most of this game was played in the centre obscured by terrain so the top-down was our only way to really see what was going on. Was hard to follow at times. But otherwise super sweet.

I dont recognize the voice behind the camera as part of the OG crew. Who is she? Someone new?

What would be cool is if when editing the videos y'all could track the army points start vs current. So if you lose a model then the points that model cost gets removed from the total like a life counter. I know that doesn't affect who wins the game and it might be a lot of extra work I'm editing but I think it might be cool and a thing to separate your vods from the other channels

It seems like both are playing tactical missions,right? Did they randomly draw their first two? I thought you chose your first two and then only draw new ones when you dont still have two? Have i been doing it incorrectly or do they house rule it a bit?

Yeah, you need to return the cards that you used to show what secondary style you are playing and then draw two randomly when it is your turn. Most people are just skipping that part and just saying what they are doing.

I don't know him personally, so I hope he is doing well. From one of the previous set-up videos, they said Matt was burnt out and isn't going to be a primary owner or content creator of the channel going forward. They did say Matt was going to do guest appearances at some point.

Ever since Garrett misplayed the thousand sons cabal points rules I've been super critical of everything he does, helbrecht only gives +1 S and critical on 5+ IF HES LEADING A UNIT as soon as that bodyguard unit is gone and he goes solo there's no more +1 S and critical on 5+

And when bricky targetted grimaldus with the deathmarks only grimaldus should have been taking the wounds because of precision, you can't make the servitor cenobytes take them

​@@dumahssbeech9114the attacker can choose to put the wounds on eother bodyguard or character in the unit. The toughness for the bodyguard unit is always used for wounding regardless of if the leader is being targeted

@@zectric4145 The servitors in grimmy's datasheet dont actually have the character keyword though (its specified in the keywords, grimaldus is the only character. They are a character unit, but they arent all characters, just Grimaldus), so no the servitors cant take precision attacks for grimmy. You could take wounds on the PCS/bodyguard unit and save them on the servitors (use their invul and FNP from the sheet since those are shared). Of course though if the attacker wants he can choose to have them just go to the bodyguard, but then the player chooses what models take those saves and wounds.

It's a black templars repulsor executioner and yes it does have a multimelta as an option, the standard astartes repulsor executioner doesn't

Theres an awful lot of brave choices in that Necrons list. Good grief

「You are thinking too much as a Black Templar player」 If you didn’t charge everything in sight whenever it’s possible you’re playing BT wrong. Remember, knowing is half winning, the other half is VIOLENCE.

They're part of a character unit therefore makes them characters, same goes for grimaldus and retinue which is actually worse as that gives you 4 models to score character kills on

@@raze667 I think I found an answer. Wound allocation says to apply to non-character Models first, even if not in an Attached unit. This makes it where Celestine can not take wounds until the seraphim are gone.

I disliked how you used all the templar stratagems way after you were supposed to declare them. Seeing the result and the outcomes of dice rolls and then using stratagems after you know you need them is not how 40k should be played. Remember your stratagems, remember your abilities.
