A pair of black-tail deer fawns have appeared with their mom multiple times on our property throughout June. Somehow during the night of 6/15 it seems like the face of one of the fawns was badly injured. You can see it better later when it has swollen up and gotten pretty ugly. It doesn't seem to be slowing him down or causing systemic failure. My first thought is electric fence? The burn lines are pretty straight.
