You ever touch something hot? You're probably not going to go touching that hot thing again. We tend to be really good, as you've mentioned quite a few times, at remembering the bad things that happen to us. Plenty of people who have played this game have snapped with a good hand and board state to only then lose it all to a tech card, or something related to RNG that might not have been in their control. When they play the game down the road, they remember that huge loss on a good hand, and they have no desire to snap until they are absolutely sure they're going to win. This is why people boomer snap and all that. I think Marvel Snap is a game that appeals to those that like to gamble, because a gambler tends to not care too much about the potential pothole around the bend. They're just gonna put their foot down on the accelerator and take the curve at full speed to win the race by a country mile-- they've already calculated that the odds are likely in their favor. Most people aren't like that, and they're fine with a conservative winning if it means they mitigate the chance of losing more. I think that's a very human thing. Maybe someone can argue that it makes Marvel Snap not the game for them, but for some people winning is what matters. Whether they end up with 2 or 4 or 8 cubes isn't really a concern for them. Beating the other player is the dopamine hit.

I saw this idea online, is 0/0 m'baku too good? Synergy with lockjaw and Wakadan warriors and Blue Marvel and does what it was made to be

Would just be worse wasp then? No point in jumping out of the deck with 0 power. Even if you have blue marvel up, that's hardly significant enough to warrant using him

@valorrye2342 if you play Agatha in Krakoa with mbaku on top of the deck he would be a 0/14 that can't be Shang'd or alioth'd in your lowest power lane

Everyone knows the cornerstone of a good game is deleting your opponents final turn.
