@@gpopov777 It's a snarky reminder to the Prince that duh, Odile (black swan) wears a black tutu, whereas Odette (white swan) = white tutu. He's so enamored by Odile that he thinks she's Odette even though the swans are conveniently color-coded for easy identification! And that's a guy for you. ;)

I have been sick for 4 years, (muscle disease and dysautonomia)I danced all through high school struggling immensely throughout my junior and senior year. After my last season ended and my disease progressed I stopped doing pretty much everything. After watching you dance with your disease I started taking some dance classes at my city's rec center. I just want to thank you for giving my the courage to dance again. You're an inspiration

Loved this video and I actually prefer the Russian version of Black Swan - it's the first one I knew, before the "American" one. Oh really! I didn't know that. It's funny how even classical ballets can vary so much in terms of the music that is used. La Bayadère has four acts in some versions and only three in others. So interesting.

Yes! I knew Russian first, but I look better doing the other one, so I prefer that one for myself!

really love what you said about your fouette turns! You just do the best you can, nice and tidy. Sometimes we are just too busy chasing all those crazy fancy steps...

Even if it wasn't your best dancing, you did your best, and absolutely owned it. Besides, if I see someone dancing even 1% better than me, I'm just like "this is perfect I can't even why can't I dance this good" Also, this is also a big inspiration to me. Just seeing someone who had a big illness and had disenigrating muscles and all of that stuff, but still pulling off a very hard variation is just fantastic. Great job :)

I've just gone from watching all your vlogs on your other channel and it's so weird because I almost forget that you can do all this amazing ballet!! So beautiful to watch!!

You really become the character! Your 'not best dancing' is so pretty and eye flattering so it makes me wonder what is your best dancing like. I loooove your russian/european variation. To be honest I prefer it over all others. I'm curious which dancers did you look at on youtube to prepare for it? Also a question for Odille's mimicing Odette - in order to become the character I have heard two versions of mental preparation, so to speak - one is you mimic the white swan to fool the Prince and the other is you are mocking her. Which one do you think is better? Oh, and Seth's a la seconde's are amazing!

I got lured in to a lot of black swan pieces this morning down the youtube rabbit hole, and I can appreciate so many types of dancer and interpretations. I know hypothyroidism can lead to lack of muscle tone as you mentioned, but I think your softer phase here works wonders for your beauty and femininity, something I can't say about some of the principals I've been watching. You look graceful, fluid, royal, effortless and alluring!

Love this series so much! I wonder if Hashimoto's affects certain muscle groups more than others. I'm an adult ballet student and fellow Hashi sufferer and I struggle immensely with building calf and ankle strength (single leg rises and jumps are the worst), whereas my abs do pretty well.
