I've always advocated for the abolition of the Sports Ministry. That Ministry is just another layer of bureaucracy. What is wrong with a private citizen or a private or public company donating money to help our sports teams? There should be an account where people can donate money to help our Olympians. The Government cannot do everything. The United States Olympic team is mostly funded by private individuals and companies.
