Black Shark is a great gaming phone. The only upgrade that I want for Black Shark is to have it own cooling fan that could be powered directly with the phone like the one ROG have.

For gaming it is absolutely a beast. I had BS4 pro and used it for a year. No I wanted to try a different brand so I switch to Red Magic 7s pro. I honesty prefer BS with the build quality and the speaker.

Facts redmagic software is also terrible imo, although the BS5 pro has pretty bad battery life, idk why cuz the battery isn't small of anything, even puting the phone on 90hz still dies quick, battery life is around the same as the z flip 4 from Samsung, maybe a little worse a little better

@@AB-kf5hy not bugs, only honestly 1 but I’ve found but it’s major and very annoying, it’s that the adaptive refresh rate goes bonkers everytime you try to use the swipe gesture bar on the bottom it gets super laggy like it’s 30 fps for a second and it messes up the gesture sometimes lol, only fix is going to dev options and forcing 165hz always. Recommend you go for a ROG phone, best gaming phones and worth the money. Also for cheaper ones, look on eBay at a ROG phone 5 series. Amazing phone with insane battery life and software

This year!? Its been like this since 2-3 years ago. Even most mid ranges, sd card slot is gone. "Fruit logo" been like that long ago as well. For charging speed, give it more time. Time is need to show more definitive proof of how far the speed charging thats archieved this year will affect the battery. Just dont make bold assumptions without any news that phones literally explodes from fast charging.

@@DeboraCSimao yup, indeed it is the truth. One of the Only few flagship like sony xperia mark iv that has sd card slot, headphone jack, 30 W fast charging. But the price tag and no charging brick is very bad move. Even Xperia mark II still very expensive; my country's marketplace sells it around 900$ which is still very expensive imo. But still a better pick since the price been lowered from thousand dollars territory and still has brick charger included. Back to mid rannge, only a few mid range smartphones still can give us that. From charger and cable, headphone jack, sd card slot, big battery, enough fast charging, etc.

My ROG 2 just died the other day, ever since that update I had issues, I think it melted my motherboard, won’t switch on at all.

@@Eight8411 probably, can’t remember what the update was, but after that my dongle wouldn’t work, couldn’t transfer data to an sd card, the fan stopped working, it began randomly shutting down, then I’m pretty sure it overheated and melted the chip or motherboard. Hopefully it’s only gonna cost me RM600 or so to fix… otherwise I’m getting red magic 7 pro, or black shark 5 pro, anything except Asus, I won’t trust them again.

I was playing GEn shin impact for 6 hours straight on my new iqoo neo 6 5g. No heating or lagging. Even neither 1 bit the games affect the cooling systems. Really game phone as i expected

no 3.5mm jack on a gaming phone are they smoking crack? only "gaming" phone i see being worth it is the red magic series with active cooling. they're the only devices I've seen that can actually sustain high performance, everything else throttles

But LCD panel comes nowhere close to an OLED panel in quality and the newer phones have better battery life than the Poco X3 Pro so 5 years is maybe too long to continue using it.

@@VisionaryTech no worries I also have ROG 5. the reason why I buy Poco X3 pro because I need a phone that I can carry while I work. cuz the ROG 5 is very heavy, bulky, easily get hot, not really scratch or dmg resistance if you accidentally drop it or bang it to walls or edges of tables or doors, and I can't use it while charging. at least the Poco X3 pro can do all that, it's less hearth break compare to my other phones if I accidentally dmg it. 😭 I can say that if ROG 5 can give 100%/100% performance of gaming. Poco X3 pro with 12.5 MIUI and game turbo can give 80%/100% of gaming performance. if I want to get competitive I use ROG 5. PS. I play genshin impact for fun but I play competitive in HONKAI IMPACT. 🙂👍

The regular Black Shark 5 is out of stock currently, and it doesn't surprise me considering it only costs £439!!! Better than overpriced Samsungs.

Yeah, this shark phone ain't even getting close to ROG 3 in overall design and execution. And the ROG 3 had some flaws. But to not have a side USB-C, and a fan that has to have an awkward cord to connect to the phone, and remember this is the "PRO" model.. sheezh man.. And on top of that, no head phone jack.. ON A GAMING PHONE!?! Are you freakin kiddin me!?? Which means, that you either can run the cooler or your wired headphones.. Good thinkin there Mr Shark..👏👏🤦‍♂
