Wow this video has blown up recently more than I could have imagined, 20k views already! Thanks to everyone for the nice comments and likes, I'm really glad to see all the love for this. As someone with a lot more editing experience after almost three years since this was made, I cringe at some of the technical mistakes I made but I'm just happy that people still seem to enjoy it.

This is one of the most underrated series ever! Everyone needs to watch this!

This is brilliant, I liked that you focused on season 1 and 2 for most of the video to build Flint's need for vengeance and then glanced over season 3 and 4 quickly to show his vengeance that took shape through the war against England

You can feel Captain Flint's anger, as well as the focus and strength it gives him. He well and truly has the makings of a Varsity Athlete. Alas, though he wanted the world to be one way, it was the other way.

Thank you for telling his story once again with this beautiful vid. It never stops to amaze me how powerful and dark and just...very human this character is. Of course he did also bad things, but there was this spirit in him, keeping him going, that just...is the kind of spirit which changes the world, in the end. And I'm so sad about the ending but I hope he found peace at least. This vid was so inspiring, some songs from this album are very proper for telling his story.❤

I loved this show..... Captain Flint was an epic character... And the only complaint I had with the show is that.... We were robbed of a war between Flint and England... I wanted him to raze that country to the ground

The whole point of the show was to be a semi historical prequil to "Treasure Island" Flint burning England or starting a mass revolution in the new world wouldnt have made sense

man this show was one of the first I saw on Netflix and still it is one of te most beautiful they have ever done!!!

@@BillyTheBigKid82 I understand that Black Sails is the first ever prequel to Treasure Island. I was making the statement because there was rumors of a follow up after Black Sails. It was disappointing.
