I'm glad they are not dragging it out. Every season has gotten better but I would hate to see them stretch it and lose it's quality. What I am hoping is that they go on and do a new adaptation of Treasure Island. I would love to see Billy, Gunn and Silver as old men not to mention Israel Hands, Jim Hawkins and the rest of that fantastic book.

Shut up Black Sails, you had me at "Toby Stephens".

I'd hope they do a remake of 'Treasure Isand' after Black Sails, That would be so awesome!☠

It's too deep for most people. They just want teen drama, and talent shows. Throw a raping vampire, and a plain looking girl in and it'd be the most watched show of the year.

Black Sails- as many have said, it has been so underrated, but, on the plus side , isn’t it nice to know that you watched this? My wife and I are on our 4th visit to this wonderful programme. Not many shows deserve repeated viewings, but by heck this does.

Is it just me or Hannah is like Lena Headey + Keira Knightly. I see both of them in her, at least some parts.

i wish there were hours and hours of behind the scenes stuff. it's sooo fascinating what was created there... the ships, the sets, the costumes...

Black Sails and Deadwood are my two favorite Series.

I really wish they had done a full length documentary of the "making of" of this amazing historical show. Definitely my fav historic tv show of all time!

no viewer in the U.S. for some reason... average good shows have at least 2-3 million viewers per episode, great shows (like game of thrones) have 7-8 millions and our bellowed Black Sails (that i'd trade for GoT in a bit) has only 0.7 mill viewers... no viewers =no money = no expensive sets and big ships = no sex on the beach after filming = NO Season 5! ~~\ˇ^#%$&)=(˛˛°°=?˘˘^^*?=˝˝¸¸¸¸¸#(/%&$$# bummer

After a decade of hollywood blowing hundreds of millions on low quality, overhyped and extremely disappointing CGI movies that nobody can connect to or empathise with, Black Sails stands out as a shining beacon of how to do things properly. Put in the effort like this and you get a truly SPECTACTULAR show that stands the test of time long after Antman Quantumania's entirely CGI production has eroded into obscurity. Starz - please create another show like Black Sails with the same production team. It could be about Ancient Rome, Sparta, Egypt, or even a remake of Sharpe. Whatever it is, no matter the story, the Starz production team for Black Sails is 1,000,000 times better than every CGI disaster produced by hollywood these days, and audiences everywhere are crying out for real, authentic environments like Nassau. See the critical reception to Star Wars' ANDOR, which actually built the entire town as a film set. As a result, with minimal CGI, the production value and the value we get as an audience is through the roof (and it helps that it's real roof not a CGI one)!. Please learn from Black Sails and Andor, and start creating incredibly immersive, REAL shows like this again. Thanks for reading.
