Welcome back to the Wilderness Outback Channel! In this video I explain a bit about the OEM specs and how I changed the wheel setup to work for my Subaru Outback. The wheel setup that I went with are the Black Rhino Sandstorms wrapped with a 225/65R17 KO2.

Nice rims. The first thing I did when I bought my outback was throw on some mortegi M139 rims with 235x65x17 Atlas wildpeak AT. It added about a half inch of lift and no rubbing on the wheel well.
😅 you got me i thought tuis was going to be on a wilderness, new set up looks great
Did the same on my Forester and installed 235/65/17 and it looks awsome! Plus having a bigger tyre made the feel much more comfortable when riding gravel roads and when you hit a pothole
dude it wouod have been so cool if you showed how these looked on the actual vehicle rather than just the tire and wheel hub

That looks great, I'm looking at changing my wheels and tyres. I just got the Ready Lift kit delivered. What width are those wheels?

No spacers! It gets that because of the wheel offset.
I have a 2016 Subaru Outback 3.6 limited. Will these rims & tires fit without doing any modifications and without rubbing…… and do the tires comes with the white letters? Thanks….. I love your outback.

They should fit! I didn’t do any mods to mine. And yes, there is white lettering on the tires

Nice wheels. i want to ask you about the center bore. have an issue to istall it because they are different.

The bore size is wrong? Do you need a spacer kit?
Nice. I just ordered the same wheels and 245/65-17s & ready lift kit. Know if it’ll fit? Looks tight with 225s.

Nice! Videos don't really do any justice, you'll be even more happy once you see them in person. Yeah its a little tight with 225s. With you going to the 245s, it should work since you are getting the lift.
So, is the offset around - 30? I am looking at some Archers with - 30 offset.

They are +35mm but it creates a negative offset.
where'd you find the 5 bolt sandstorms?

I got lucky and found mine on Facebook Marketplace, but I’ve seen a few online shops selling them.

Will your specs work for the 2018 Forester xt?

Your bolt pattern would be different but offsets would still probably work.

How was the clearance? No rubbing on the mudflaps?

Sure, if you have the same vehicle I know stock suspension will work because thats what I do. If you dont have the same vehicle you will have to do some research to figure out some specs.

No rubbing. And for the ride, it’s pretty good. The tires make a bit more road noise but that’s expected for something like these.
