I’m consistently blown away by this band. It’s isn’t often that the first few notes of a song moves your soul. Eric Burton’s voice is sublime, the definition of soulful, bringing out every nuance of the music and lyrics.

In a time where most of what you hear commercially is overproduced and homogenous, that we have Black Pumas out here delivering soulful, emotionally gripping music is a true gift.

I'm SOLD! This sounds and feels like it was made by REAL musicians playing real instruments and it was very well constructed, then expertly recorded! The song itself is achingly beautiful. And, I just love the singer's voice! I hear the influences of Prince and The Beatles plus Motown and other great stuff from the 60s and 70s as well! Ding dang WOW! This is good!

Oh boy! This one does it for me so far of the three released songs. Don’t get me wrong here; I adore Mrs. Postman and More Than A Love Song truly, but the vocals on this one deliver me goosebumps all over.
