Black Pepper - How To Grow It

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Stay until the end for the real info on why black pepper and chili peppers are called the same thing. Unlike chili peppers (capsicum), black pepper (piper nigrum) is a perennial fruiting vine. The peppercorns are actually dried fruits from the vine, and the colors vary based on the ripeness of the berry. Mine is tiny, but when grown right it can fruit in its first year, which I’m hopeful for. #pipernigrum #blackpepper #growyourownfood #gardeneducation #gardening101 #growpeppers

You should try it! I’ve seen people grow them in quite small pots, so it’s a fun experiment at least.

The black pepper is native to my region known as Kerala in India. It should be planted under a tree and should let it climb.we should give them organic compost around the plant.it pollinate with the help of water.u should apply water throughout the plant when it starts to flower.

Many nurseries sell them, but if your local ones don't the one I got mine from also has them to ship.

Nope! Black pepper is harvested before it’s ripe, and then heated, so your odds of germination are almost none.
