Same here, I bought an Xbox one at 16 just so I could play it right after it came out

You never know what you got good until it’s gone

I JUST got done playing BO3 Tdm & I get on YT to see this on my feed haha. It’s crazy how fun it still is even after 8 years. It doesn’t really get old!

Remember BO3 launch had every gun almost perfectly balanced.. thanks to the beta during summer, it helped cleaning many weird stuff away. But i remember even then, people were crying.. the jumps, the ops, those first dlc weapons being OP and the streaks being too strong(this started mostly in BO2 thats why today streaks sucks), high cal being the most unfair attachment ever😅 But in the end, BO3 will forever hold a spot in our hearts because it was fun - fun times we took a lil bit for granted

Was having a rough day and this really made me feel a lot better. BO3 is my favourite cod of all time just purely from the memories of playing with old friends.

Man miss this one so much. Top 3 CoD for me

The best Zombies and the MP was top 4 - up there with BO2, MW2 (2009) and MW 2019. BO3 overall as a game is also one of the best CoDs. Goated game.

@@theoneandonly9282 yeah I mean, it’s not a big deal Imo not having a good campaign. I liked having a good campaign with MW 2019 and MWII, but their third game mode of Spec Ops had nothing on BO3 Zombies. Campaign is only played once or twice by most ppl anyway, maybe 3 times tops.

I think that MW 2019 had a better campaign than BO3 and a better MP as well, but BO3 MP was still excellent and the Zombies is unrivalled (as in, other Zombies can be good but BO3 is clearly the best). So BO3 is probably the better game overall.

@@Game4Lord The gameplay was still extremely fun. And you got most of the variants if you grinded without having to pay. Not saying it was a good thing but the game itself was soooooooo good.

This makes me so sad. There will never be another game like this and I will never get to experience it with all the friends at the time.

Didn't get to play it as much as I wanted but I loved the movement and weapons. Makes me wanna go watch my old highlights.

Great job on the whole video! Made me feel like time had stopped and I went back in time to the Good Old days.

I remember being deployed the summer before this came out and being pumped for it. I got back home the week this came out and spent my entire 2 weeks of R&R playing BO3 with zero other responsibilities. Life was good.

Miss those days of watching Drift grind camos live on stream. Great times!

I think that bo3 was the peak of call of duty mechanics in terms of variability and balance at same time(!)

Honestly I have fond memories of listening to your ghost stories videos, racism in the deep south videos, and what makes a person good or evil video as I was playing BO3. I was going through some very heavy medical procedures due to IBD, but this game combined with your very interesting thought provoking philosophy videos and stories made me feel better and comforted. I cant believe its been 8 years since then, but Drift0r, as a kid you really got my mind thinking and just listening to you made me at ease. Its why you've been one of my favorite youtubers since I was a kid and what inspired me to go to college.

I recently bought BO3 back on PC. The good old day, watching Drift0r’s in-depth videos, playing, hanging out with friends. Well, the easier, sweeter time ❤

Blops 3 is still my goto for Zombies, it felt like the last 'classic' Zombies experience before they started to really change things. I think they also clearly wanted the story to end with Revelations. Zombies Chronicles and steam workshop is also *chefs kiss*

Man I still play this game regularly. One of my favourite games of all time. The editing is also pretty damn great on this video, it was something that I think a lot of people needed, just a fun harmless video to remind of the good times. Have a good day everyone.

Ahh, this brings me back to all the crazy montages back in the day. While BO2 was my favorite COD ever, I spent the most hours on BO3. Hope you're feeling better Drift0r, been watching your stuff since black ops 1 and a friend of mine that I used to play with, "Scarecrow" did the in depth for the last few DLC weapons in BO3 after you moved on from it (with your permission of course). I cant even explain how much fun I had in BO3, it just simply cant be replicated. I've been playing cod since MW2 but no other COD gives me the nostalgia I get from BO3, and as any cod, it had many flaws but I didnt care at all back then and if this game was still as active, I wouldnt care now either.

Most the transitions were quite straight forward. It was coordinating teammates which was hard. Even things like making kill feeds transition between levels took thought and kill streaks too. It all is consistent.

Seeing such a great game these days is just making me sad. Miss those old good times

I remember you were playing with Vohndehar, and all he wanted to do was snipe, but the lobby was sweaty lol. So he wasn't doing so hot sniping against the competition. The plays and clips that could be made in bo3 is awesome as well

Black Ops 3 is my #1 CoD ever made and Top3 games of all time. To this day I play (custom) zombies with my friends and we have no intention of stopping anytime soon. Also MP with mod for guns... this game will live for eternity.

1 2 3 were a source of much fun and nostalgia for me.

What a trip down nostalgia lane. I was never super into the jump-pack era of COD, but I loved BO3. Treyarch killed it and I definitely consider it a classic.

The original Black Ops trilogy was some of the best multi-player design I've played. There's a reason so many of these maps are remade to death. Feels like if they didn't overdo the Sci-fi esthetic with Advanced, Infinite and BO4, there might have still been a place for advanced movement and experimentation in the series.

I still play this game regularly. You cannot play any other game mode than TDM. Zombies is still populated and fun.

Black Ops 3 had its fair share of problems, but it was easily the most fun game of the series. With easy to understand maps that were fast paced and offered a wide range of playstyles Weapons that were super satisfying to use, and even humorous to die to at times Modes that offered something for anyone and everyone Arguably some of the best cosmetics we were ever offered to buy and/or unlock Last but not least, mod support on PC through Steam that offers near unlimited posabilities for content

I really regret missing out on this one. I stopped playing after OG MW3 (I loved MW3!) and didnt pick the series back up until BOCW which I had hoped would be a return to BO1 (my favorite) in hindsight some of the future games really were peak and I don't get to experience that cultural moment.

One of the highest quality CoD titles we ever got. If it weren't for the black market being the worst with supply drops this CoD would've been damn near perfect, and that's even with it being a jet pack CoD.

Killcams don’t even follow projectiles on modern CoDs, so many other things like that too, we really didn’t know how good we had it.

Damn soo much nostalgia, and those transitions were crazy! 🙂😮 I loved Black Ops 3 multiplayer, I grinded for Dark Matter camo, made it to level 1000 legit, and I had soo much fun with friends in custom games. Nowadays I don't play it anymore cause it's infested with these players using glitched classes with invisible hacks and godmode. 👍😕
