I'm not a very good COD player, but I've been trying soooo hard to get Gold Camo for the Type 25. That's the gun I chose right off the bat when I first got the game, and back then, everybody was noobs so it was easy to get guns leveled up. It's currently fully prestiged. I never really paid attention to the camos, I always just used the DLC camos I got, Cyborg and Graffiti (I now have Weaponized 115 and Afterlife as well), but since I got interested in BO2 again, I've been try harding to get the gold. It's been quite difficult lately because now everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, quickscopes. Every lobby I go into, there's most likely more than half the players quickscoping. It's just a nuisance to players like me who are finally coming back to the game after quite sometime, and having to deal with being sniped in the head by a quickscoper lol. I have all the default camos for the Type 25 except Skulls, and that's where I'm getting frustrated... I can barely get to 2 or 3 kills before I get killed. I've been playing Domination because one of my friends said that was the best game mode to play for getting the camo challenges done. My friend can easily get a camo within a day, he has no problem with it. He just started playing the game again a couple weeks ago like me, but he does so much better, and it really frustrates me. If someone could give me some tips on good maps and modes to get the challenges done quickly, it would be greatly appreciated ^.^

Hey Evan, I just got the Gold Camo for my PDW-57 5 minutes ago but for a long time now I've had the same problem getting 5 kills without a death, until I found the solution. Headquarters. On Headquarters everybody is going to the HQ and focusing on the main objective, I also use shock charges because I think they're quite handy when going for kills with your preffered gun. Just do this for a while, It took me a while but Ive got it finally. I also got a bunch of xp from it aswell. Hope this Helped.

You've got to get gold with your assault shield as well (and maybe the combat knife-I got the combat knife done first so I'm not sure it's a requirement, just that you get diamond for it if you complete the camo unlocks for all specials).

Sometimes the other camos are easier because they don't require headshots at all. Rather, they make you ACTUALLY WORK for the camo.

They should add all those! Like emerald, ruby, sapphire, ect! Those would be sick or even like chrome or something.

Diamond smgs, assault rifles, snipers, launchers and specials

Tip for trying to get Diamond Camo on Specials: once you unlock crossbow and the ballistic knife, play sticks and stones it will get you 2 ez gold specials. There's 2/4 just like that! Hope this helps :)

You have to get gold on all of the specific guns like lets say you want diamond for submachine guns you have to get every single submachine gun gold. Its the same for everything.

The xpr is one of the easist snipers to use.

when i watched ali a without realizing it was him years ago

i only need the crossbow gold and i got diamond, i already got diamond shotgun, snipers and launchers(ps: diamond rpg is beautiful)

I been using diamond for alot of this cod recently it got annoying to see that camo so I use the elf camps now just to switch it up

Getting diamond is easy but time consuming il already have diamond smg's and snipers and the assault riffles are next

No the gun prestige is for unlocking clan tag and emblems for the gun

i have gold executioner and the way i got it was on core ground war just kept running around killing campers and people from behind lol the blood thirsty was a lil harder........

Already got SMGs Diamond and for snipers only got the XPR-50 left till diamond snipers

Sniper rifles are the hardest cuz of the high fire rate low damage guns

also i got it for the other specials as well.
