We are our own people, but the world see color including our own people and anyone of dark brown complexion must be African, this is not true. When it comes to the idea of African contact with the Americans before the Europeans I believe it did happen, however, there is little to no evidence showing African contact outside of south America, and when it comes to similar culture to the modern Seminole it because the Seminole are another very mixed tribe because they were well known for taking in runaway slaves and naturally they shared culture with each other. I mean Celtic mythology and paganism share a lot of similarities to native american religion but that doesn't mean the Celts were here thousands of years ago

Majority of those runaway slaves are other Indian tribes and not Africans cause prior to the 1900's there were very little Africans in North America Only 3% came here which is 15 to 30,000 out of the 388,000 slaves shipped to North America Seminoles and Maroons are mostly Indians, not Africans who only made up 20% of the Trans-Atlantic Trade and a large number of those slaves were negro Indians taken from the Americas since the early 1500's

Who wrote history and kept the genealogy? You should all know that before Colonizers there were no one here that had no copper colored skin. Common sense if you know true history. No one was capable of destroying Turtle Island by complete genocide. Impossible as a matter of fact the colonizers was losing without begging Germany and promised land and gold we would not have lost. That's facts.. don't be fooled

Copper Colored Aboriginals are the Negro Indians, Europeans had very little contact and interaction with the Mongoloid Indians who are the Indians of the Plains up until the 1800's, that's who Hollywood patterned their conception of Indians from, teepee's dream catchers and totem poles etc... wasn't apart of our culture because the Negro Indians of the Southeast is documented to have had the same customs as the ancient Hebrews The Indians east of the North American Continental Divide were predominately Negro Indians, especially east of the Mississippi River the East-coast, Southeast and Gulf-coast If most of your ancestors from the Southeast, then your ancestors are Mayans just go take a look at the Bonampak Murals

1828 Websters Dictionary Definition: AMER'ICAN, adjective Pertaining to America. AMER'ICAN, noun A native of America; originally applied to the aboriginals, or copper-colored races, found here by the Europeans; but now applied to the descendants of Europeans born in America.

This doesn't mean your not of african decent it just means your of both african and native american decent. On top of that not every modern black person is going to be able to race their lineage back to a mixed native american and African person, infact outside of the American South where a vast majority of the intermixing between enslaved Africans and Indians happened your likelyhood of being able to trace back any ancestry becomes very low. This is coming from a lumbee and we're a very very mixed tribe between african european and native american.

African slavetrade hit south America and the islands around it , they couldn't just travel to the Americas straight from Africa because of the ocean, the slaves would have perished being in such harsh conditions that'll why they say when they supposedly discovered our homeland north America but they write speaking about our ancestors already being here .. copper colours black and brown

@@thedivinecreator83 People have been traveling across oceans for thousands of years at this point noteably the pacific islanders so i do believe africans could've done the same. When europeans wrote of copper colours and black and brown people they were refering to dark tribes of Amerindians not africans. When africans did begin to be imported to the americas there was a large amount of intermixing between africans and native peoples but not enough to say that all modern black people originate here in america. im not saying you yourself do not have native blood but not all black americans do or in the same numbers. What it comes down to is that we're all mixed with something and in my tribes case we're mixed with everything under the sun and with a lot of modern black people they are also mixed with native blood and European whether they realize it or not but that doesn't make them not descendants of enslaved africans aswell.

@@historyman9617 black and brown copper people are the same yes we are mixed in but every man and woman comes from the land Africa, that's where life started, people migrated from Africa throughout the world when all the lands was together before they all separated so we can't give all credit to some slave trade story I'm glad I know my family history
