I'm from Franklin Ave so I been knew Buck. I knew Buck rapped but never really took him seriously. This album changed my mind. This song is one of those songs that just put you in a zone whenever you hear it. I still get goosebumps when I hear that intro.

I just don't see how anybody could dislike this? I mean damn. What type of people are you? You just can't have no soul disliking this one. The whole album for that matter. One of the greatest albums ever produced. I will stay bumping these classics. I just can't do today's trash.

This group was underrated... they had me when I heard, 'We Got Da Props...' I would always look forward to hearing that on BET.... I always thought this group had more to offer but they are an offshoot of A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Jungle Brothers, Brand Nubian, and Leaders of the New School with a transition to Wu Tang and thanks to Diamond D and the Psychotic Neutronics.... All that grace, the violence isn't necessary unless you fight an enemy...hardcore is only uplifted to be against enemies of peace, rest, mercy, and keeping one another safe.

I love this album , I was in Junior high when this dropped , Me my crew use to rap over this album and even did a talent show . These Brothers gave us Inspiration to grab the mic ! Shout to Brent and Rueben

Back in the day on the school bus people would ask who I was listening to. I'd tell them and they always said "who's that "? lol. Thats just the way I liked it too . It felt like black moon was just for me and my crew lol.

I remember in 1993 I had a friend whose friend bought this cd and we went to someone's house to take bong hits and we listened to the cd and I was like,"this is nice!".

In my humble opinion, this is the greatest hip-hop song ever.
