Black Mirror Project by David Jonathan - Mentalism Review

Hello there everyone, I am trying to build a magic review channel since a lot of tricks, books, and downloads lack reviews and input. Since I own so much magic, I have decided to create this channel in order to help you make better purchases and give you an idea about what you are purchasing! In this video, I look at BMP by David Jonathan.
If you wish to contact me, I have a twitter and an Instagram page (sebastiantocamagic) in which I am active and ready to answer your questions. I will answer your questions and requests for further reviews with pleasure. Just do not ask me to reveal the method for you!!
Subscribe to help me grow, and make other magicians see these reviews before buying new products.
If any creator would like to send me something, contact me at sebastian.98@hotmail.com

Thanks for the review. Good news is the original book test has been fixed by Apple and it will work again on iOS 17.5!

I'm sure this project is high quality and certainly app/tech based magic can get good reactions, but I live in an area with lots of STEM workers. Many of them, upon seeing tech based magic, could think of a tech based way to do the effect, even if they don't think of the actual method. There is no reason for me to ever do tech based magic as a result, unless the tech is used so subtly that even a STEM spec wouldn't think of it. I'm not sure this qualifies. Meanwhile sleight of hand can absolutely destroy them, so what's the point? I know someone with a Master's degree who still talks about "how that magician got another sponge ball into my hand" 20 years later. Thank you for the review though, I appreciate it!

Hey! Thank you for constantly watching and sharing your comments! I always enjoy reading them! I believe this and another product I will be reviewing soon (Devios) hide the method well! It feels quite organic and the tech is mostly used as a “i dont have anything on me let me note it down here” type justification. I too own quite a few tech effects and rarelt gravitate towards them no matter hoe much I love them. However, this new trend of “shortcut” based tricks see me perform them more and more. I am not sure if they will fool techies, but the casual spectator for sure! Thanks again for watching!
