I wish this live for his audio quality set a goal to achieve for the incoming tour. For the previous one, it often sadly leads to a mashup of dirty sounds, all mixed up together (I simply didn't hear a note from the keyboard). Concert should be about music. Not just show and energy (I don't get the point of those overload volumes). My 2021 experience didn't honor the huge quality of their amazing work. Hope my November gig to sound like that.

@comedon

@@JakobvonRaumer I don't know about live mix at all. Sure those professionals do the best they can in inconfortable configurations. But they're often such a gap between live mix and post-prod mix for video restitution. New technologies are so powerful, I wonder why there's no app to assist mix in real time (correct balance, dynamics). And I'm pretty sure a lower volume might help. I don't get the point to use ear-plug. I bought mine 10 years ago. A blessing. It sometimes reveals instruments drown in the mix.

To me it sounds like the shows they've been playing in the US recently the live mix is better. Maybe they figured out the mixing they need and have someone guiding the people setting up the stage. Idk, all I know is even phone recordings sound better than last year.
@comedon
Жыл бұрын
@@PixelCrabs There's no way what I can hear on this video sounds like what I heard during this 2nd November gig in Paris. Sound was better than for the previous parisien concert (this time, I heard Seth most of the time), but voices had to fight to find their way (often inaudible), bass was upfront, and the only thing that left from drums where massive hits. Nevertheless, some reviews are good. Maybe my 50 years old ears are no more able to find their way in a rock live performance ........ (maybe my location, stuck to the stage, facing the bass amp, was not a good idea either). I will keep listening to their amazing music, but sadly I think BM live shows are over for me.
