I’m in America (New York State) and I’ve heard of Triple J, but they aren’t too popular here. I think people discover them when they come upon a cover they really like. (For me it was Julia Jacklin’s cover of Someday by The Strokes - chef’s kiss)

I think this is the best interview ive ever seen, ever. How the video unfolds is amazing - when the boys got fantano with some deep questions about really just playing bass and music again, where in life he was when he got invited to do an interview with mick jagger, the experience of being a never ending meme, what qualifies as a 10 for him (thinking records that were surely personal to him).. to picking up the bass and just jamming along and having fun.. Grandpa Needles got real emotional at the end. TBE.

I saw this band live in 2017. They supported Preoccupations in London. Never heard of them, but they were so awesome, especially the drummer. Seems that's when they'd just started out and have come a long way since then. I met Preoccupations and got loads of stuff signed by them afterwards as well. Really good gig that one.

I usually don't make it through the interview. This one definitely kept my attention.

I love these interviews but I would love it if melon expanded on the questions. It seems like he's asking questions and moving on quickly without asking follow ups and making it more conversational. Look forward to seeing how he progresses with these though!

@@frackingfluidinjection The truth is, they are probably on LP5. Geordie said they were working on LP4 in an interview before Cavalcade dropped. Geordie also, supposedly, said "Hellfire out this November" a day after Cavalcade dropped on his live. Who knows if that will hold true. He said similar stuff about albums dropping but the album names are true. Also, supposed date is November 16th. Edit: For 2021. He's never been right about dates though so who knows, maybe its true this time.
